Pielachtal Camping

Peaceful spot near the pond. Not too crowded. Nice bathrooms! Lovely walk from the bahnhof to the campground using the Pielachtal Radweg. Good price for the facilities.

Check-in was slightly confusing. But this was largely due to a language barrier, not due to their communication. They communicated clearly, but I did not read carefully or fully understand. They spoke angrily to us as a result which I felt could have been handled with more compassion. But they but did accept our apologies.

Really nice campground with many pitches facing an ornamental lake with a sandy beach. High quality sanitary facilities. Fairly expensive like many in Austria but the high standard justify the price. Dog and no dog sections which keeps both sets of people happy. Clever and actually easy to do. Very satisfied.
