Everything we needed was available on site and close to our pitch: good food, clean washrooms, laundry. On the second night there was great live music playing unobtrusively in the area of the pool/bar which added to the lovely laid-back atmosphere. The interesting town of Navarranx and a Carrefour Express is a very short walk away.

We found Beau Rivage by accident and I’m so glad we did. It’s friendly, well kept, small and quiet but has all the facilities you need - plus a few extras. Pizzas were available on one of the nights we were there, and a different visiting food truck the next night. There was a 2-man band playing great music unobtrusively near the small bar on Thurs night. There’s a small pool, a laundry and a truck with fresh bread, fruit and vegetables that visits most mornings. The fascinating town is only a short walk away. Will definitely return!

Great location walking distance to the town, friendly staff, nice swimming pool, good facilities. Good site for walking or cycling.

A shame that there was no restaurant open on site at end of June; too early in season? Site was full and spoke to many people who were disappointed that this facility wasn't available for lunch or evening meal. Only downside really.

Nice site, pitches are of a good size. Showers clean. Have washing machines, buy a token from reception. Nice size swimming pool staff very friendly. I would stay again. Small village in walking distance with restaurants, shops and a small supermarket.

More toilet facilities and another washing machine. Would be ideal to include a dog shower with a washing machine to be able to wash dog stuff.

We have stayed before but only for a night stop over before travelling on. This time two nights and loved the experience. Showers were lovely and hot, hopefully not because “off peak”.

The campsite is cute, friendly and incredibly welcoming. The local village and surrounding area is nothing short of gorgeous. It has all the amenities you need and has a real 'home' feel about it.

A welcome on arrival. Our pitch was fine, with shade and sun, perfect to have water and electricity on the pitch. Town centre within 10-15 minutes walk and well-stocked Carrefour supermarket even closer. Navarrenx is a lovely little bastide town, has an interesting small museum too. The on-site mechanic was brilliant as when we were about to leave the waste water bracket broke and he was so kind & managed to do a repair which enabled us to continue on our holiday!!! I cannot praise him enough.

As it was quite full my only niggle was that the showers were sometimes not as you like them but I think this fault was due to other users not cleaning it after use.

We came back to Camping Beau Rivage with our family, after a 13 year gap from when we first discovered it! It is truly an exceptional campsite and I love it even more now I have younger children and can see the benefits of shaded pitches and easy access to the onsite swimming pool. Newer additions, (that weren't there when we last visited) including the bar and local market on Monday, made it even better!

Small site. Friendly staff. Clean toilets and showers. Nice pool and bar (open in the eve) Pizza available on site. Short walk to town. Plenty of information given to us by the staff. We stayed three nights and then returned again for two nights as we liked it a lot.

First stay here we had good WiFi but this time on a diff pitch it kept dropping out.

Our pitch was perfect, felt like my own little private garden area!

I wanted to use washing machine and despite several visits, just unlucky🫣 Maybe booking slots would save unnecessary visits?

Lovely site, friendly staff, close to town with nice restaurants. Fair size pitches. Only 4 electric points between 6 pitches.

Only one sanitaire block open with 2 toilets and 2 showers. Apparently they only open both when site at 50% capacity.

Proximity to Navarrenx, a fascinating walled town with good cafés.

The showers were tepid to cold. Cubicles too small. Pitches cramped and hedges overgrown. So close to nearby pitch that we were troubled by the occupants’ foul cigarette smoke.

Bumped into some lovely seasoners and had a fab time. Just needed John Thaw and some red wine 👍🇫🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Publish times for the little bar and pizza place to be open. Opened one nite out of seven randomly. Pool was refreshing and perhaps could be heated although this may conflict with eco values of the site.

Lower shower block was close leaving only 2 WC and 2 showers in the upper block which were them selves in need of renovation. Shame as rest of site was great

Travelling in our motorhome we used the Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry and drove direct to Navarrenx. We had booked four nights but stayed for five so we could go to the excellent market on a Wednesday.
