The pitches are on a 1 in 4 hill, but mostly flat. Toilets are adequate and clean. We were off season, so no facilities - bar/pool ). A 10 minute walk to the bus stop to take us into Aix which was very handy and one of the reasons we booked. Campsite for campervans rather than caravans so grey waste and fresh water was at the bottom of the hill beside the bins - and not very hygienic. It was very difficult hauling a 40L aquaroll up such a steep hill. Signage wasn't great, so it took us a couple of days to find the steps and accessing the appropriate toilets.

Few positives, other than location. Campsite was quiet and peaceful, with hot water - but there is nothing else positive I can say about it - expensive, in poor condition, very dirty shower blocks, challenging pitches.
€42/night for 2 people low season - double i paid anywhere else, and yet the worst campsite I stayed at. Pitches-impossible to manoueve vehicle into, see below. Shower block - filthy, months worth of scum, limescale, mould, missing shower heads & drain cover in all, missing tap on another. shower tray doesn't correspond to shower point so have to stand on half on/half off tray. handle lying broken on ground by exterior door. Electricity -poor set up, have to run cables across road & most aren't conventional EU camping sockets so few that can actually be used

quiet & peaceful.
Impossible to get vehicle onto pitches as they are small & very tight with very narrow tree lined entry. Only way out is reversing all the way back down the path you entered with much assistance. Have to trail cables across road to get to electricity box - and half of these don't take standard EU plugs as they're so old - limiting your choice of pitch greatly. My pitch had a tall ladder left leaning against a tree in it & view over the dilapidated cabin cluttered with junk next to it. And for this the most expensive campsite we visited in several weeks in France.

A very convenient site for visiting Aix, quiet out of season but pleased the pool stayed open. Toilet blocks were average. Motorhome service point was awful - I wouldn’t take onboard drinking water from there.

Swimming pool was lovely. Very peaceful, shady site.
Guidance on arrival very unhelpful. Big van, so should have been directed to larger pitches and away from first 3 rows. Poor signage. Pitches themselves are in poor condition with deep ruts and uneven surfaces as you enter. We damaged our van. You fill up with fresh water in the same place as disposing of waste (both grey waste and toilet waste). The fresh water hose sits on the ground in a pool of water next to the hose that is being used to clean out toilet boxes. Very worrying. No information about when bar would be open or food served. Pizzas very poor quality.

Pool was good, liked that toilets had seats and paper! Bar area good and watched some rugby World Cup matches there. Liked the butchers nearby and easy bus into Aix.
Site needs some tidying and renovation. Some showers and toilets did not work (not good when you have already undressed to find shower inoperable).

The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. The tent pitch was spacious and the toilet/ shower block was well maintained. I would 100% recommend this campsite

Camping toujours très ombragé et beaux emplacements
De 3 toilettes 1 sans siege une qui ne fonctionnais pas et l‘autre n‘a pas été nettoyé les 5 jours de notre séjour! La piscine etait sale et que 5 transats pour tout le monde! Une reelle déception nous sommes venus pendant 15 ans sur ce camping mais pas pendant le covid et il a pris un sacré coup!

The toilets and showers are awful. The park is very scruffy with overgrown hedges. It looks like a concentration camp, not a place to relax on holiday. There are so many beautiful caravan sites in France, the owners of this one should be ashamed. All the negative google reviews seem correct.

Despite the heat, it was wonderful to be in the south of France for two weeks. The pool is great, and supporting staff friendly and helpful. It's great some products (wine in particular) are for sale in reception. The environment makes for a private, nature-focused experience.
The heat was at times extreme, but we stayed inside. A warning about the wild boars on sight might have been good, as the sounds they make at night are quite frightening if you don't know what it is.

Smart positioning of the porch for maximum shade. Wonderful to sit out there at night. Good use of space inside. Separation of kids and parent bedrooms. Good airconditioning was a life-saver.
Quite a serious persistent problems with ants in the chalet, but I understand that might be hard to control. Our main issue was that there has clearly been a lot of cost cutting in the building of these new chalets, which led to quite a large amount of small defects to almost comedic effect. These include: shower curtain rod falling on our heads; power sockets positioned in unpractical places and not well-fixed; shower and kitchen water drain open underneath chalet with water just running onto the ground; cupboard doors not staying open; loose shelves; etc. I had to buy a role of duct tape.

Proximity to Aix-En-Provence
The whole site looks tired and jaded. I know it's early season which explains why the 'restaurant' wasn't open, but the layout of the site doesn't lend itself to a comfortable stay. I'm not sure what it does to earn the four stars on the signage at the entrance. It would definitely benefit from being bought by someone like Huttopia or Flower, who would make the best of the site, I'm sure.

As a retired facilities manager, I’d be embarrassed if the site was mine. Clearly nobody cares about the place to let it be as run down and untidy as it is.

Receptionist was very friendly, spoke good English. Restaurant was closed and she recommended local fish restaurant. About a ten minute walk which was excellent. Site was in wooded area and well screened. Facilities were clean and well presented.

Helpful friendly reception fronts a decent if slightly jaded site. Good location with easy access to the city by bus or on foot for the fitter.

Great campsite, free Wi-Fi ,, clear facilities, landscaping loverly, great location for walking into and exploring Aix en Provence.
When we came to leave reception mistakenly thought we had not paid, they were wrong but still very aggressive about it.
