This was part of a road trip heading South. We stopped at the site for two nights as it looked a good place to investigate. We used the pool which was clean and obviously very new. The local park was a great place to walk around with our dog and was a centre of hobbies & interests for the local community.

During our stay the male toilets were locked shut without any explanation. They had been open on our arrival and were clean and tidy. Would have been nice to know the reason for its closure.

Didn't stay in the end. Had to find somewhere else

Found out a few days before staying that the lake was closed which was a big attraction for us choosing to say there. I understand it was out of their control but even after explaining it was the main reason for staying there the campsite offered no refund and said they didnt manage the lake. If the lake is not in your control then don't use it as a selling point for your camp site. We were also told we wouldn't be able to use the pool as we didnt have the correct swim wear so I made the decision to find another site which had a pool that we could use. Asked for a refund and have been ignored.

The pitch and facilities were amazing. Beautiful and clean. The showers and toilets are well kept and clean. Overall this is a lovely campsite.

We thought the park was a little basic, but still very nice. However we came to this campsite to visit Nantes and wasn't able to. The male receptionist would.not book us a taxi. We tried bolt and couldn't get a driver. We asked him to call and he said no, you call or what's app. Our phones wouldn't connect and we couldn't call. We tried what's app, but no reply. So in the end we had to just stay on campsite as we had no way of getting to Nantes. Very rude and unhelpful. Because of this, I wouldn't return.

Toilets and showers were clean. Good position on the lakeside with easy access. Pitch large and shady but no choice.

Lovely site, well maintained. Very good facilities, they were very spacious and clean. Lovely pool.

There were several group bookings camping and in chalets, which meant they congregated and made a lot of noise till past 3 am so had a very bad nights sleep.

We had a wonderful stay and wished we’d had time to stay longer. The site is lovely, toilets and showers spotlessly clean. We didn’t get chance to use the pool but it looked perfect for a refreshing dip. We loved being able to walk out of the gate and find a bar with views over the lake right there. The staff in reception were terrific and very helpful.

The only thing that let it down was the grey water drain for motor homes, although it was there it was difficult to avoid the mud where others had emptied. It would really benefit from a concrete base.

The pool and reception staff were very good, Emma especially was very helpful and spoke English.

The roads very dusty and recycling bins were outside the site. The vehicle noise from the road, at times, was very loud.

Location is great, a good base for exploring the area, very clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly 🙂

This place is ideal, just wished we booked for longer - swimming pool, supermarket , lake with watersports. Pitches are roomy and toilets and showers are kept clean

We were just staying overnight on our way back to the UK and this site was ideal for that purpose. It is also a very well laid out site with plenty of activities within walking distance for longer stays.

Beautiful campsite located next to the lake, plenty of space on the pitches , clean and tidy . Staff are very welcoming and friendly . We would definitely stay again .

We were made very welcome on arrival and given a good sized pitch near the recently refurbished toilet block. It's a lovely area for walking and cycling.

At present further improvements to the site are in progress, please don't convert all your touring caravan pitches into chalets.

Location is perfect, facilities are very good, staff helpful and friendly. Great cycle routes, close to town, cafe and supermarket. Lake and park are beautiful.

Be at reception when you ask people to arrive- as asked to arrive at 3.30 and reception was closed. Show people to pitches as no numbers and left to find own spot. Toilet, shower block needs updating - no signs, bugs covering all sink wash areas.

We came by bike. Staff were helpful. The area for pitching tents was off the main part of the camp ground, ensuring sufficient privacy. Good facilities and a lovely swimming pool!

The site is unfinished and it would have been good to have been warned about that before we stayed there. On our first day/night there were around 100 children on site in summer camps. Impossible to use the pool , showers and even the toilets as there was insufficient provisions for this amount of children alongside campers. Had the groups not have been moving the next afternoon we would have left the site.

Proximity to my route. I only stayed here 1 night on my journey from Toulouse to Cherbourg. The lad at reception was very nice and apologetic, and did speak good English.

Arrived and couldn’t find reception as there were no signs. Eventually found a very small (A4) notice at the entrance directing me to one of the chalets. Signposting around the site in general could be a lot better. I never did manage to find the bins. No rubbish bins anywhere in the ladies loos, and therefore not surprising that there was wet and dirty paper in some of them. The site is quite close to roads which were busy. Definitely not a peaceful site, and the first one I’ve stayed at where I felt I needed to lock my doors.

The staff very helpful snd friendly

The site is obviously going through changes to lodges snd tents, which look lovely. However as a Motorhomer, the pitches were all higglty pigglty not marked and defined. Grass had been cut but not collected. Mainly though not a satisfactory drop off for grey waste or Elsan for toilet waste. The new toilet and shower block were lovely and clean but no toilet roll holders Or dryers to dry hands. And mirrors for shaving in shower cubicles. The staff were very accomodating helpful and friendly It just needs the finishing touches

We like this site it’s in the process of modernising. The facilities are superb with lovely hot showers.. There is a leisure park very close by with water sports and a walking or cycling track too.

Edwin was outstanding with his information. Choice of pitch. Toilets clean with toilet seat and paper. Showers great.

the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming but inexperienced and need training. I accept the campsite is under new management and there is an upgrading underway but standards were low.

the sanitary arrangements were poor. There was no hose to clean the camper van cassette and instead we were directed to use the hose for the drinking water which is completely unhygienic and likely illegal. I pointed this out and got a blank response.

From the moment we arrived, we were made very welcome, led to our pitch and had all the amenities explained. The camp site was friendly and filled with many other guests who were like us, following Ireland in the world cup. A truly wonderful atmosphere.

The swimming pool was closed but I forgot my trunks anyway. No Drama!
