The pitch was very tight for the motorhome with apple trees very close to each side. The apples dropped onto the roof in the night waking us up and upon leaving, many of the tree branches were low and scraped the top of the motorhome. We didn't feel very safe as there was a gated entrance behind us that was left open all night and there was no lighting so it was pitch black. If I am to return next year I will request a pitch near reception which are much more suited to motorhomes.

A wonderful campsite set on beautiful grounds.
Shower area in need of some minor upgrading, cleaners to remove the cobwebs.apart from that excellent

Loved the setting of the Chateau and the grounds
Swimming pool should be heated possibly covered more drainage on pitches for grey/ waste water, for caravans, hot water in showers, bread orders should be available to avoid queues shop to open earlier, low level lighting would be beneficial throughout the site, some shower/ toilet blocks need updating.

Beautiful campsite very near to Bayeux. Had a lovely pitch in one of the smaller areas quite near the pool. Only problem we had was 2 pigeons spent a lot of time in the tree above us & liked to poop on us. Put awning out for protection & this was plastered when we got home! Washed off quite easily. Would not have wanted to be on one of the pitches on the entrance to the site as very dark & shaded with traffic passing regularly. Great area for cycling. Also for visiting beaches & War Memorials. Were lucky to see the Tourde France while we were there. Restaurant & bar were fabulous Dog friendly
Get a peregrine or a sparrow hawk to deal with the pigeons!

Motorhome pitch quite spacious though some pitches we noticed were smaller. Very pretty, on grass under an apple tree.
As previously said would not want a pitch on the entrance to the site.

The grounds and staff are wonderful, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful large pitches and facilities on site are excellent from the shop to the pool.
Water could be a bit on the cold side in the shower at the side of the chateau

Second time we stayed at the campsite, and enjoyed everything about it. Not the biggest site with a lot of entertainment, but all pitches are located close to the castle, and has a certain atmosphere.

I have camped here many times over the years, I just love the beautiful setting.. It’s very quiet but everything you need it here. The staff are lovely. I will be back.

Water for showers and washing up not hot enough. Shower heads very poor.

Our pitch was in a lovely spot once agreed where we could camp and the restaurant was delicious
Having restrictions in place as other campers got up at 5am to leave and were making so much noise about 5x camping pitches surrounding us did it with complete disregard. This only happened one morning but they woke everyone up. Showers need improving as water flow was bad and not great flooring so dirty to get changed after.

Our first pitch was to tight for our campervan but we moved to another pitch and were really pleased.
Other campers leaving at 5am. Showers floors were not very clean as no drainage for water to go anywhere.

Lovely site, well spaced out pitches and great facilities. Very hand for Normandy/eastern Brittany and near to Caen and local ferry ports.
Need a long ehu cable, we only just reached with a 25m cable.
