This time we stayed for a total of 4 nights. The first night we stayed in the Aire attached to the campsite and the following nights we were on the proper site. The site is clean, well maintained with friendly staff and good clean facilities.
Cannot think of any improvements that could be made.

We liked our pitch which was large enough for our camper. We had water, waste and electricity all on site.
There was nothing we disliked.

The campsite is in an excellent location close to the centre of SVLH and with walking/cycle routes nearby. It is a very well maintained site with large pitches and good facilities

Keep the small snack bar open until mid September level off some of the uneven pitches so large puddles don't form after rain There had been a lot of rain prior to our arrival and we found large puddles had formed in the centre of our pitch due to uneven ground also noticed other pitches had same problem

We have been visiting for many years now, due to the campsite's ideal location. It is on the coast, is quiet and yet just a walk away from town with the harbour, shops and cafes. The campsite itself has a playground, clean facilities, swimming pool and bar/restaurant.
When I left, I saw a sign on reception about ordering bread and breakfast for the following day. Had I seen this when I arrived (it was not there) we would have ordered every day.

Very convenient for the town and walks to the peninsular/hogue. Good facilities and very friendly staff. Nice pool and basic family friendly bar serving snacks in the evening. Showers and toilets very clean and adequate number to provide for all.

Our pitch -128- was a bit small for our size of vehicle, required much maneuvering and was well worn, while plenty of other better pitches were available. Would have asked for a move but by the time we had negotiated a 15 point turn to get in position we didn't bother for our 3 night stay.

Constantly upgrading and making sure the campsite is in top condition, all facilities are clean and modern with the bonus of a great pool. Location is ideal if arriving/departing from Cherbourg (30 mins drive) with lots to do and see in Saint Vaast whether walking or cycling. Reception staff are very helpful

This site is in a great location and very convenient for St Vaast
1. There is no tap which can take a hose so we had to fill our on-board water tank using water bags. 2. Some pitches are really small 3. Hot water supply to showers and wash basins intermittent 4. High season prices start earlier than the rest of France

However, we’d like to clarify a few points to avoid any misunderstanding for future guests: We provide a dedicated service area for motorhomes, where you can fill up with water and empty waste tanks free of charge. Our pitches range from 80 to 100 m², which is perfectly in line with 4-star campsite standards and offers comfortable space for guests. Regarding hot water, we were quite surprised by your comment. One of our sanitary facilities has recently been renovated and is equipped with a brand-new boiler, providing consistent and comfortable water temperature. You are the first to report such an issue since it opened. Lastly, about our prices: June is considered mid-season, not high season, but not low season either, as it is also the case for many coastal campsites in the region. Good pitch size. Friendly and helpful staff.
Ensure dog owners keep dogs on leads and under control. A wandering dog deposited on our pitch and the owner denied all knowledge, enforcing the site cleaner to clear it up. Very unfair on the hard-working staff.

We have visited this campsite a number now and use it as a nice stopover and relaxation site at the start and end of our holidays in Normandy and Brittany. It is a very peaceful and well laid out site within 10 minutes walking time to the delightful fishing village of St Vaast la Hougue. The staff are always welcoming and always very helpful. It is great to see the care that the owners take of the site and it is exciting to see the improvements they are making.
One of the sanitary blocks has recently been updated and is a great facility. The other block is a little dates but kept immaculately clean and is still perfectly functional and is I believe scheduled to be updated soon.

Good staff, pitches spacious, level and in good condition. Nice planting round the site. Excellent location to walk the dog or visit the town and harbour. Cost of the stay was good value.
People wash their hands at the sink with soap near the toilets which is also used for washing up - doesn’t seem hygienic.

Although our team checks and services the sanitary facilities at least three times a day, high occupancy can occasionally lead to some dispensers running out between rounds. As for the pool, it is indeed heated, but depending on the weather and frequent use, the temperature may feel cooler at times. Thank you again for staying with us and for your understanding. As for the sanitary facilities, it’s true that rainy weather can lead to them getting dirty more quickly. Our team cleans the facilities at least three times a day, especially the floors. However, it’s not always possible to step in after every individual use. We’d also like to point out that we’ve recently opened a brand-new summer sanitary block—completely new and designed for greater comfort. If your comment referred to another area, we’re sorry to hear that, but rest assured that this new facility is available to all our guests. This is a nice camp site with plenty of facilities. Staff very welcoming and helpful. 5/10 min walk to small town and lovely beach/marina walks. all in all a pleasant stay.

Efficient and friendly! We love this site and its situation so close to the coast and the town. The facilities are good and the pool is lovely.
Our exit barrier card didn't work, this was not a problem as staff were on hand, but had it been later on it could have been awkward.

We are surprised by your comment regarding the lack of pricacy when the sanitary block are being cleaned. We do clean 5 times a day and this is why we have great reviews on the hygiene and cleanliness of our sanitary block. Unfortunately for you, it seems that you have used them each time at the same time as our cleaning team was there. However, we have 2 sanitary blocks. Therefore, when one is being cleaned, we always redirect the campers to use the other one instead.

Good sized pitch, nice that you could buy bread 🥖 and croissants 🥐 and the campsite was well positioned- near to the town, near to the vets in Quettehou and close to St Mere Eglise and Utah beach.
Poor WiFi and although the toilets were kept very clean (well done) they are showing their age and need a revamp.

The Camping is near at the beach, the centre ville and the harbour. There get you fresh fish and ouyster every day!! We were at the camping to enjoy the DDay .
The Camping was not to big, is was clean. The Staff was always friendly!!

Stayed here with my pets for a week. It is possibly the friendliest place I have ever stayed in. The place is spotless and facilities are great. There is a super little snack bar for pizzas etc which also sells essentials but most importantly beer and cider. The location is perfect for town and the town itself is picturesque with fabulous walks. Although I didn’t use the pool it was open and heated and again was spotless.

I stayed in a lovely 2 bedroom chalet and again like everything here it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. There was everything I needed. There was a nice few touches like; bbq, deck chairs, parasol and drying rack for clothes. The bedrooms although small had plenty of storage. Each chalet had a private garden

The campsite is located near to the beach and to the centre. It’s easy to find the bicycle rout and discover the surroundings or just take a walk on the beach. I’d definitely choose again this campsite.
Accommodation review
It was easy to find and the end of the pitch was clear.
Finding the electricity pole was a bit of a challenge, although they were marked on the map.

The campsite and location are beautiful and next to a town. The people working there were really nice and happy to help, we had a great time.
The internet we paid for never worked.

The chalet was really nice, the bed was comfortable and the space and set-up were great, also Nice that we had our own garden.
The only thing we disliked were that the chairs were really hard and uncomfortable, an so was the couch. I have pelvis problems from my pregnancy and really couldn’t sit long.
