Staff were friendly and directed us to local events/eateries. Told to choose our own pitch. Bread available to order daily. Pool now added to site. Fine for a stopover but not an extended stay.
Toilet facilities were repeatedly unclean and had a foul sewerage smell throughout the 4 night stay. We didn't even shower as facilities were so unpleasant. Some electric boxes were taped up with parcel tape. Hedges and grass etc required maintenance. Leaking tap near pitch not addressed throughout the stay. Site is unkempt. Pool had debris in bottom so did not use. Pool overlooked by road/site neighbours. Sleep disturbed by local motorbike users and roadworks.

I liked the plot of land that we could pick. I liked the quiteness during the day.
Sanitation, there was a permeating smell during the days we spent there. In the sanitation area as well as near the dishwashing area.

The enviroment. Beautiful trees. Well kept. Beautiful campingsite. Difficult to find all througt the village.
The opening hours. Closed between 12 and 4. That's the time most people arrive. The personel was not very friendly. They kept on moving with a golf car. Wile we were triing to get in a place with our caravan he gave us a big mouth because he had to wait. I think we are the visitors. Some patience could be expected.

Wow was it hot! We find this location a great stopover point on our way to Switzerland and Italy.
We had problems this time with the electric hookup. 6 sockets on the post but only 3 working and 3 not working. Had to trail our lead across the road to access an electric source. Lucky we have heavy duty cable so vehicles can drive over it.

Just an overnight stay on the way back up to Calais. Nice size pitch, nice welcome by staff.
It could just do with a good clean up, toilets were less than clean which was shame, pool wasnt finished, but thats not there fault, it was open and lovely temperature and perfect for a dip after a long drive. Will be great once completed.

When arriving outside opening hours, there is a telephone number to report that you are there. You will receive the access code and can then choose a spot yourself. The spots are spacious and shady. The staff is very friendly and hospitable.
The only downside is the poor lighting on the paths/road.

The receptioniste was very helpful in giving us a site for one night on a reserved plot. These people would arrve after we had left. This happened after we had tried 3 campings that were either closed or full. So we were grateful for this improvisation.

Nice campsite, big places, friendly reception, good showers, clean toilets with toilet paper and soap. 6 minutes to bike to Vittel, nice walk through the woods and fields. Sun and shadow. Pitches with gravel and grass, good in rainy seasons.
Place for the dishwash was dark in the evening and not all taps gave warm water, a tile was broken which you can't see in the dark. In late season I like more sun than shadow. Strange sent in the toilets.

Bijen wespen stinkende toiletten afval lag bergen hoog bij de entree, totaal niets te doen, receptie sprak 3 woorden Engels....een beetje manager had ons korting gegeven voor de overlast van de wespen dat ook nog eens gevaarlijk was. Gasplaat werkte niet goed, geen normale stoelen buiten...dit is zeer teleurstellend en nooit meer!!! Management geeft geen gehoor en toont nihil respect.

Wat een rust op deze camping. We zijn hier geweest voor een overnachting onderweg. Heerlijk geslapen! De tent is mooi. Het grote sanitairgebouw (vooraan op de camping) was schoon en mooi. Verder hebben we geen faciliteiten gebruikt. Ontvangst was minimaal maar vriendelijk. Evenals het uitchecken.
We kregen van een buurman te horen dat de tent al dagen lang niet schoongemaakt was terwijl we de zoveelste gasten al waren. Er lag ook vanalles onder de bedden (snoep, oordopjes, medicijnen strips). Het kleine sanitair gebouw was erg smerig en niet prettig.

Leek niet schoongemaakt. Buiten maar 2 stoelen/zitplaatsen, terwijl er 5 personen zijn. Het zijn 2 tweepersoons bedden. Opzich niet erg (voor mijn kinderen) maar wel goed om vooraf te weten in verband met het beddengoed.

kleine camping zonder verdere faciliteiten. 1 toiletgebouw bleek gesloten en de 'epicerie' die ook nog op de plattegrond stond was nergens te bekennen. Sanitair was oké en redelijk schoon. Wij stonden hier 1 nacht als doorreiscamping. Daarvoor geschikt, maar raad het niet aan voor meerdere dagen.

The toilets were too far away and they were disgustingly filthy. Also, they were out of toilet paper and soap. I made a comment about it on the day of our arrival, but that didn’t change a thing. The owners clearly don’t care about hygiene at all. Also, it was an unpleasant surprise bedlinnen was not included. The photo’s showed made beds and there was no mention about it when we booked. The price was 50% higher with bedlinnen, so we felt ripped off.

A grassy and spacious pitch on a quiet campsite. Good facilities. We were only passing through on our way somewhere else but I would like to return to spend more time in the region.
The WIFI on the campsite was very slow and I ended up using my phone to get internet access for my computer. This is true of every single campsite I have been to.

Alles wat er in de tent zou zijn, was aanwezig. Formaat van de tent was naar verwachting.
Wc was ver weg. Niets te doen op de camping. Gelukkig waren we hier op doorreis. Kregen geen informatie over de brood service. En een supermarktje is er niet.

De tent staat op een verhoging, gelukkig maar met al die modder en regen.
We hadden baby bedjes gevraagd voor onze tweeling. Na een paar keer vragen kwamen ze er met 1 aan. Gelukkig hadden we er zelf ook 1 mee genomen. Maar eigenlijk pasten er helemaal geen 2 baby bedjes. Dus zelf de tent maar verbouwd zodat het wel paste. Bedden waren hard en kussens erg zacht.

The location of the site is very good. A 15-20 minute walk takes you into the town centre. On the web site it states that reception is open from 2 pm but in reality it is 4pm. There is a system to get into the site via the internet and set up on certain pitch numbers and thereafter attend at reception when it opens. The pitches are fairly large and access to them is easy. There is a fairly modern toilet block which is adequate for a site of this size. Bread can be ordered at reception which was manned by perfectly pleasant staff.
This site is in need of TLC. The grass on the majority of pitches needed cut. The hedges on all the pitches required trimming. The toilet block, although modern needed a clean.
Accommodation review
The site was peaceful. We stayed for 2 nights when the occupancy rate was very low. Water taps are close wherever you decide to pitch. All pitches offer privacy from adjacent pitches due to mature hedges.
Maintenance of the pitches needs to be undertaken, from grass cutting to ehu posts.

Grappige tent voor een snelle overnachting
Receptie bij aankomst leeg, moest zelf iemand zoeken. Ze sprak ook geen Engels. Tentje staat aan de rand bij een autoweg, veel herrie heel de nacht. Bedden hadden geen lakens, maar wegwerp hoesje op matras en kussen. Lag niet lekker.

Vriendelijk onthaal. Veel ruime plaatsen.
Geen wifi op het terrein. Warm water niet echt warm, douches, maar zeket water aan de afwas te koud. Voor mij waren tijdens een hittegolf de douches warm genoeg, afwaswate r te koud. Op veell plaatsen geen ontvangst met de schotelantenne, dus even controleren voor je je opstelt.

Lovely campsite in Vittel. Only stayed one night but pitches were really good, toilets and showers were very clean, helpful staff and short walk from centre.

Toilet stuck and no assistance to fix it. Very high price for simple camping spot. Was exceptable for about 30 euros but not for 40 euros.
