We had such a fantastic stay at this campsite and would highly recommend it to anyone. The facilities were excellent and clearly very well maintained. The toilets and shower blocks were honestly some of the best we’ve experienced at any campsite — spotless, modern, warm, and clearly cleaned regularly. It made such a difference, especially after a long day out skiing The location is also a huge plus. Access to the resort is incredibly easy, whether you choose to hop on the ski bus (which is convenient and reliable) or take a pleasant walk if you feel like stretching your legs.

Nose to tail pitches and claiming large pitches. Turn the pitch 90 degrees and fully use the space available in the central green. You would also accommodate more pitches in the same space.

Washing, toilet and shower facilities in the tent area are not as nice as the rest, but one can use the good ones by the bridge.

The facilities are absolutely fantastic. Lofer and the surrounding area are amazing. We had a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to a return visit.

We stayed in a camping hut which was really cozy, nice, enough for our family (2 adults+2 children). The camping was well equipped, very nice and clean sanitary buildings. The camping has minimarket, restaurant (delicious food), fitness room and everything for children - playground, waterside, playing room in case of bad weather.

The location was spectacular, you never get bored of the mountains. The toilet block was the best we’ve ever seen, and always clean. The food in the restaurant was also very good.

The opening times of the shop on site are very limited.

less queues at check out check in electricity included reception staff not laughing at one of our attempts at german words apologise for loud music which kept us awake until one am. not excuses that it was nothing to do with camp again apologise when we were charged an extra euro in shop, don’t tell us it’s not your fault, shop owner is slovenian? we were staying on your camp!

The best pitches and scenery one could have

Although there is pitches for dog owners, this time dogs and owners were walking their pets around all the pitches especially in the xxl ones. I thought this was not allowed.

More dog hooks to tie dog than at toilet, shop etc. Grass shorter as a lot of rain so very wet. Change key cards to wrist bands

Beautiful spot, between the mountains with the river running through. the bathroom facilities are excellent and spacious, the pitches are well spaced, great cafe/bar/restaurant on site, staff are very friendly and helpful. a short bike ride into pretty local villages.

More than one recycling centre would be nice but not that important.

We loved the spacious pitch, the kids had plenty of space to play and the views were amazing! The bathrooms/showers were huge and very modern. Great variety of activities locally and lots to do for free with the tourist card.

A swimming pool on site would have been nice but we did enjoy the free access to the one in lofer.

Price of the campsite is on average more expensive than other campsites (but Salzburger Saalachtal Card included).

The facilities are excellent and the scenery fantastic. Well placed for walks and cycling trails and for walking into Lofer. Also the restaurant is very good.

Have a spin dryer in the laundry. Some sites have these for free to assist when hand washing.

Impressive 5 star camping in breathtaking surroundings. Everything at this campsite was designed to optimise the client experience. Would easily stay there for a whole month or more!
