We stayed for 2 weeks in early July and loved the campsite. Location is great for walks to the amazing local beaches and to Bidart town centre and is very well served by the public buses. Campsite was very well maintained and staff were very helpful and friendly. Mobile homes are well spread out. We stayed at an end of row mobile home and it felt so peaceful. Hope to return again.

Stayed for 8 days in June. Lovely coastal walks and pretty Bidart centre square with three lovely bar/restraints easy walking distance. Very dog friendly with dog shower.

Basic provisions generally catered for in small store except milk. Dogs not allowed in reception which has air on and ability to go in there during nearly 40 degree heat would have really helped but dog shower did really help during the heat wave

Some information about the festival of music held all over France would have been useful. We heard from a friend and walked the few minutes up to where the Bidart sessions were and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Lovely helpful staff, fantastic pool area. Able to choose our pitch for 5m caravan. Shaded by mulberry trees( word of warning mulberry stains everything and the berries were all over over pitch ). Huge showers with basins inside with hot water. They were the only private basins available.

Having toilet paper inside the toilets not outside. Built in hairdryer would be good. It's not normal for people from the UK to plug hairdryers into a room with a wet floor.

We stayed here for 7 nights at the beginning of June. Nice campsite with good facilities and indoor and outdoor pool. Nice area to stay.

Well laid out site with very good facilities and spacious pitch. Easy walk to both town, beaches and all the bars & restaurants. We didn’t use the pool but both indoor and outdoor looked very good.

Very friendly and welcoming reception staff. Site well positioned for cycle into Bidart. Very clean and well maintained. Good size pitches. Good bar/restaurant. Would recommend and would definitely rebook if in area again.

For me the management and staff made my holiday really special, everyone was so happy and helpful. The facilities were top notch and the showers and toilets were spotlessly clean….we will definitely return 👌

Possibly a bit of gravel on the pitch where the grass is bare to stop the mud getting slippery when it rains.

Very modern facilities. Very helpful supplying exrension leads etc. near beach and village. Easy access to bus in to Biarritz. .

Pitch was all grass and got very mucky with rain. Some hardcore or gravel would help.

If you are going to say no shorts in the pool area then enforce it. I chose to purchase trunks but numerous people were in the pool with shorts and Bermudas - if you have a rule then enforce it

We enjoyed staying at the campsite. Although the first nights kept us, and kids, awake because of loud music from the bar. But this was properly addressed when we informed the reception, the other nights the music stopped at or before.23.00.. We did not have the most picturesque pitch, close to the pool and bar, but this was known when we booked. We will definitely consider staying at Ur Onea again when we visit the area.

Add toiletpaper to every toilet. I seldomly know how much paper I need beforehand when visiting the toilet ;-)

The campsite was very well maintained and very clean. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was excellent. We are return visitors and will certainly be going back.

This was our first time staying at Camping Ur-Onea and we would definitely stay again. The campsite is well equipped, with recently upgraded sanitary facilities and a gorgeous pool area. The bar is nice and the restaurant serves very good food. The staff were all very pleasant to interact with.

The sanitary block nearest to our pitch was closed but I assume this was for upgrading.

Excellent stay, superb pitches,lovely surroundings couldn't fault the site ,lovely warm welcome at reception , free pen was lovely and works well just writing my shopping list.

Spacious pitch, large showers with sink, hot water at all times, plugs in washing up sinks, clean toilets with paper, pool open at this time of year, snack bar, bread on site, bus outside site and friendly helpful staff

Lovely site, very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities were spotlessly clean as were the swimming pool areas. Nice bar/cafe overlooking the outdoor pool. Pitches were lovely and well laid out. Overall a very pleasant visit.

This was our second stay at Ur Onea (first time was 2018) and it did not disappoint. The sanitary block was perfectly clean and having showers and basins in individual cubicles is great. The price per night is value for money. When I had a small problem with a washing machine the staff immediately attended and sorted it out. Had 5 peaceful nights on a friendly site. All these things make it a great site.Will return!

Maybe a sign outside the sanitary doorways to indicate they are unisex? I was unsure to enter on my first visit! Otherwise no problems!

We had a lovely large pitch. Due to my mobility issues, we asked for one near the toilets and showers, which they had set aside for us. They gave us a perfect spot.

There was only 1 disabled toilet / shower. I didn’t manage to use the 1 cubicle as it was always in use. Additional facilities for disabled people would be useful.

Only a brief stay but wish it could have been longer. Excellent pitch with nice grass area but hard standing to one side which was great and ground still a little soft after spring showers. Facilities excellent with well designed shower block and units. Lovely and clean and enticed you into squeegeeing your own shower after always leaving as you find. Lovely location with nice walk to good beach.

Two beers at €17 a bit too pricey for my liking!

Tout etait tres bien, organisation au top. Sanitaires super propres et nombreux, piscine aussi et tres grande. Proximite avec la plage geniale et a deux pas d'un arret de bus.

Friendly helpful staff. A great restaurant with good food and wonderful staff. Modern facilities always spotlessly clean. Great position close to the beach and within walking distance of Bidart and Guethary.

We paid extra for a grand comfort plot but unfortunately we discovered the toilets nearest to us were not open so we had a longer walk to the facilities and the lights in our area were not switched on so at night time our walk to the facilities started and ended in darkness. This was not safe and we felt that although we paid more for our plot, we actually received less.

Either keep all facilities open all year or don't put people in plots where there are not adequate facilities

the location to tour the country and the pyrenees is perfect. The restaurant was very good, with fair prices and very nice personal.

Pretty well maintained site, lots of trees, shrubs, flowers. Decent clean toilet etc etc block. Very very nice swimming pool area. Good bar/restaurant. Good location, walkable to a beach & Bidart. Bus route should you need. Easy to explore area For us, an excellent stay.

very friendly welcome and the instructions for the site were very clearly and efficiently explained in English as we have little French. Each pitch has a hard standing for your caravan/motorhome which with the rain we have had this year is very good. The sanitaires are beautiful very clean and spacious. there was a problem during our stay that meant there was no hot water until about 0900 but we are satisfied this is being dealt with. The bar/restaurant is very good offering good food, well cooked and prepared and drinks including cocktails.

the only improvement at the time of our stay would be the water temperature but this is being addressed
