We loved the small, quiet site, right in the small and historic town of Villedieu. Toilets were spotless. Showers were warm and powerful. Plenty of shade. Well recommended for overnight or a week (or longer!) Great for kids as well as adults seeking some peace and quiet.
None... it's perfect!

The staff are so friendly & helpful The shower block is perfect, always clean with hot water. The snack bar provides the most amazing pizzas and the baguette ‘tradition’ in the morning is to die for. Very child friendly with the pool, a range of play equipment including a trampoline and go carts that the children of all ages loved. The site is within walking distance to the village. I’d definitely go back.
It seemed perfect and can’t think of improvements.

Nice site with good sized, well defined pitches. Right in the town so we could easily walk to shops & restaurants.
Hot water at dish washing sinks wasn't hot.

Electricity points are not very close. You need a long lead.

Reception helpful, clean & well cared for
Improved directions from auto route going east - a nightmare to find route through the town. Leaving a doodle as it is near a well signed roundabout

We stayed at this campsite for a few nights on our way south and again going back home. Both these stays were excellant - good facilities, nice people and competitive pricing. We'll definately visit again.

We arrived on a Monday as we wanted to see the town next day with its market in full flow. The town is lovely and welcoming as was the campsite. It was very close to their closing date but everything was in tip top order. Great showers. 5 minutes to centre of this great town. They’d had some rain but the pitches, even after the long season were good.

The site is set in idyllic grounds in the most picturesque village you could ever imagine. The owners are super friendly. It's the best site I've been to in over 40 yes if camping and touring

We camped there and all the facilities were amazing, from the outdoor pool to toilet and shower block. It was cleaned thoroughly and often. It was peaceful and very picturesque. I cannot fault it

We were passing through to Calais and spent two nights here. Flat, grassy pitch. Not too shaded by trees. Water and electricity on the pitch. Lovely swimming pool and excellent toilet / shower block.

The location close to the centre of Villedieu-les-Poêles is excellent.
Install more electric hook up points, we have a long (25metre) cable but had to borrow an extension lead from reception. There were too many cables stretching across many pitches and access roads. Also, definitely more recycling and rubbish bins are needed!

Given pitch number, someone already there. We chose another- told it was already being used but it remained empty. Sent to an unpleasant pitch next to overflowing rubbish bins Once we sorted a decent pitch we had a good stay.

What a lovely site we were only going to stay for two nights we ended up 6 nights a lot of people stay just for one night but it’s well worth staying longer great pool and bar area the site is kept clean with good showers, a beautiful little town within 5 minutes walk.

A very nice site in a wooded area. The facilities were kept clean and tidy. A short walk into a delightful town with plenty of history and sites to see. We will definitely visit again!
