Due to a change of ownership and failure to contact us to discuss this we did not stay at Camping Les Saules after enjoying many summer holidays in previous years on this site. We are unable to provide a review

Sanitary facilities were new and of an excellent standard

The site was ongoing major refurbishment and many of the facilities, such as the shop, green spaces and café/restaurant were either dilapidated or completely unavailable.

Nice campsite . The children enjoyed the pool. The facilities were clean and most of staff were really welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the seating area by the bar for a relaxing morning coffee.

If the pool was open a little earlier than 10:30. One member of staff was quite rude to us when we left the site. We pulled out of the site and just briefly pulled into the arrivals bay to check on the map to see which way we needed to go. He told us we needed to move our van as people would be arriving soon - we explained what we were doing and he told us to hurry up- which I felt was unnecessary and quite rude.

Reception and checking in was pleasant and easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets etc are excellent. Small Pool was great for kids but the covered pool is very deep in the middle. Kids did loads with kids club.

Communal Freezer never really frozen our ice blocks or bottles, it seemed to struggle.

Warm, kind and helpful owners, brilliant site team, very good English spoken, very safe for children, stayed at the busiest period, site almost full, however still very restful, plenty of areas to suit different requirements, lovely nature walk, good for dogs, all well behaved on site.. there is also a dog area/ sitter / walker if you need to go out all day .. pool great .. lovely and warm in August, it was clear that all on site ( children, adults and dogs) all enjoying themselves, and happy. Made very welcome as always by owners as we have been for 20 years.

A site we have stayed at over the last 20 years, very helpful friendly staff and owners, always welcoming and helpful with anything you need, they all speak very good English . Booking online is clear and easy.

We enjoyed staying at that campsite. Laurent and Isbelle were very kind. All staff members were friendly. All ist clean and what isn‘t clean belongs to the guests. We look forward next year to come again.

Good sized pitch, located close to the facilities. Enjoyed the onsite bar and restaurant, not forgetting the crazy golf!

If the pitch behind us had been occupied it would have been a long walk to the facilities block. Other people took a short cut across our pitch.

Very enjoyable stay on the campsite - peaceful, good facilities and helpful staff. The restaurant was good and we also enjoyed the swimming pool and being able to hire bikes from the site. Lots of things to do in the area. There is also a supermarket only a mile or two from the site.

It would have been good to have some information about footpaths nearby for walks.

A friendly site with helpful staff and clean facilities. The chalets are well designed to give space and a view of the wildlife on the site.

Staff were very helpful and cheerful. Good, big shaded plots.... apologised that the plots were a bit much after some unseasonably wet weather, but there was really no need. Great point to explore the local attractions such as the impressive châteaus in the area.

Possibly time for an update on the sanitaires, but they were acceptable.

Atmosphere was relaxing and back to nature with lots of wildlife. Facilities on site were to a high standard including shop and bar. Friendly staff.

Our First time camping in France and it was great. Lovely, clean campsite with all the facilities you could need. We especially loved the swimming pool and going to order our bread and pastries every morning. We had take away Pizzas on the last night which were very good. Staff were all very friendly as well. It's a good, run site and it wasn't too busy either.

The campsite is lovely and quiet. It is well maintained. Laurent is so helpful and cheerful and regularly seen walking about. We love this campsite as it suits us perfectly as a family. There is plenty to do in the area. The children love the pool area and the play parks on site.

We were helped in as our van is quite big, no problem about moving to another pitch. Very helpful and friendly, hired a car, no problem either all very relaxed. We will be back

Maybe make the restaurant a little nicer

Everyone is very friendly and speaks English (or tries to).

Points of attention as far as we are concerned: hot water for dishwashing could be hotter. And we thing it's nice to have toilet paper available, but often you take too much from the central point, as you do not know in advance how much you need.

Good clean site with great pool and clean facilities

The friendly nature of the people who run the establishments especially in the restaurants and vineyards we visited. My French is limited. However we were overwhelmed by the welcome we received when at least you try to converse. We loved every second of our stay. The shop was very expensive. Use the supermarket a few kilometres away.

Why isn't there any compassion for others any more. There were just a few families who didn't care about the noise they made. Slamming car doors before 7am. Loud radios etc. Thankfully these only stayed one or two nights. Then there are those who let their dogs bark continually or leave them tethered whilst they go for a swim. The majority of dog owners were good. I'm a dog lover.
