Really enjoyed our stay. The pitches were a generous size and fully serviced. The restaurant whilst had limited opening was great food and wine and fairly priced. The take away was good also

We spent 6 nights at the site and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of being by the lake. All the staff were approachable and helpful and the site is managed with a respect for the environment. The restaurant was very good value and the pool and facilities kept at an excellent condition regardless of the time of day.

Absolutely stunning campsite. We had a lakeside pitch which was huge (44). The pool area was perfect for families and our children age 3 and 9 loved the slide and splash park area. The parks were great and our kids also loved the trampoline and bouncy castle. We ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. There was take away available every night which we also had. That was also very tasty. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this site and we will definitely return.

Nothing really but if I had to say 1 thing it would be for the shop to be open longer and to stock a bit more.

We liked the look of the place and the fact that it wasn't densely packed with pitches and accommodation.

It feels like style over substance. I've never known a site in high season (4 stars) not have a café or bar open all day for snacks, lunch, ice creams and drinks. There's so much more the site could be doing. But it's just doing the minimum. The choices for teens is non-existent, probably better aimed at young children. The shop has very few items and considering the restaurant isn't open every night and the takeaway doesn't have a lot of variation, I would expect them to sell more. There aren't many places in the nearby town to buy things either.

Had an enormous pitch with a great view of the lake. Not too far to facilities which were spotless. Pool area very pretty with lovely view. Very wildlife friendly with very noisy frogs in the evening, coypu in the lake, dragonflies, moths, butterflies & bees. Loved it!

Would not have wanted a pitch without a lake view as some were much smaller & very enclosed with no outlook.

We booked four nights for our camping holidays in France Found the site nice and calm, spacious pits, and lots of families having time together.

Refill of soap, toiletpaper etc was inadequate. Toilet paper on three out of six is not a problem when you remember to check before going. Filling hand soap only half to let it run empty again within a day is not an option.

The friendly welcoming staff work hard to make your stay stress free and enjoyable. Large pitches with services on hand. Facilities all spotless Pool and bar excellent. Wifi available throughout.

It’s a beautiful location, the staff made us feel so welcomed. Sarah was very patient with us making sure we had the right pitch to suit our needs. The Sanitary areas with large and clean and in a good location We also ate at the restaurant thoroughly enjoyed our meal with the local wine, it was also nice to meet the owners who were in the restaurant and spent time speaking to their guests Apart from the unfortunate weather, we had a fabulous stay and we will be back 😀

Great place to stay - peaceful, picturesque and would go back again. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff, food in the restaurant is excellent as was the take away food in terms of good quality and value. The pool was good too and needed given the extremely hot weather as was the lake that you can walk around, canoe on or fish in.

Only minor niggle is the footpath up to the pool after the foot wash - you can easily burn your bare feet in paving’s in hot weather following the rules ie no shoes allowed on pool area. We took our shoes through and used them as did most fellow guests.

Lovely view across the lake. The owners and the workers are all very pleasant.and accommodating. Stayed for 5 nights and found it a very relaxing stay. The pool is lovely with a nice view. The water slide was great fun. Had two meals in the restaurant and must say the Chef really knows what he's doing using fresh produce,full marks to him and the team. Would definitely return if in the area. Merci Beaucoup

Not a lot, but maybe the crazy paving going up to the pool could do with a make over sometime,.us old cogers found it a bit hazardous.

We especially love the beauty of this site and how peaceful it feels. We are a senior couple and we stayed here in our caravan. It is our second stay here and we will certainly book here again. The pitches are generously sized and the layout of the site has been thoughtfully designed. Everything is very well maintained and the sanitary block is spotless. Reception staff are helpful, the restaurant is very good and all staff are friendly.

What a simply beautiful and peaceful site . The owner a charming lady that has by the looks of it spent many many years perfecting the design and running of this wonderful site regularly charging around on her golf buggy charming her quests , the staff are all very friendly eager to please and want you to have a wonderful stay giving you a full and proper overview of where everything is and what is on etc etc .We have stayed in many les castles sites over the years but none that has had this total feel of tranquility and friendliness .booked for 3 nights ended up 6 did not want to leave

May consider eco matting on the grass pitches to help in wetter weather , but other than that this lady has this site just about perfect for what we like .

This site is absolutely stunning, we had a lakeside pitch (100) which was well worth paying the extra for. You wake up to the birds and go to bed to the ducks and crickets! The site is extremely well laid out, very clean and the facilities are great. You can order bread and pastries for the next day at reception. The restaurant on site is worth a visit too, the food is delicious and the waiter is lovely. You can cycle into Boussac which is worth a visit especially on market day. Overall this was an exceptional find.

After we said we couldn't stay in the Gite we were quickly moved to a Premium chalet which was excellent. Had to give a mark of 1 for accommodation as there was no zero. It would have been zero for the Gite and ten for the chalet

The Gite, Baker's oven our original accommodation, was cold in the living area, uncomfortable and the floor mats by the entrance door were filthy and needed replacing.

The owners & staff were all very friendly & helpful making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived & throughout our stay. The on site restaurant served excellent meals. There is a lovely outdoor pool complex. The site is set in a wonderful natural location overlooking a magnificent lake & was so peaceful with plenty of entertaining wildlife. We had a small issue with our motorhome & was helped to address the problem on site - that was service above and beyond… This site deserves to do well & we hope to return again soon & will be recommending it to our motorhoming friends.
