Everything was clean and tidy, the pitches were well laid out and there were plenty of facilities.

The shop didn't have much stock, but perhaps because it was approaching the end of the season.

Everything went well. One of the best bathrooms we have ever seen, with laundry facilities.

The inability to use the lake water, even for kayaking, was a regrettable point, understandably so.

The cabin we stayed in was clean and modern. Pool was clean.

Staff were quite grumpy (particularly in the restaurant) and not enough of them! Lake being out of use was a big shame as this is what brought us to the site when we booked in January. Would not return until the lake is reopened.

Friendly reception staff. Direct access to a beach on the lake. Good pool area. Facilities clean but toilets and showers seperate. You have to use one then go outside and come in another way for the other.

the reception staff were lovely, but we had a sad encounter with the wait and bar staff. They treated us differently to all other people there, made us feel very unwelcome and there was no smiles at all. When the same person was serving French people, she was all smiles and kind and bought them things like ketchup and water. when we asked for them we had rolled eyes and attitude. I tried with my French as much as possible but it was ignored. we were also served the wrong food but did not want to say anything as we were uncomfortable already. such a shame as the place was beautiful.

Staff....greeting upon arrival not welcoming or informative. Staff racing around the site late evening on the buggies....not professional. Staff using the pool....not sure if this is the norm in France? No information prior to arrival to say you can't use the lake.

There was a heatwave during our stay so we stayed on the site. So much to do -walk round the lake, cool drink in the cafe, lovely meal at night in the restaurant, big comfortable, hedged pitch, pool to cool down in, cycle into village safely, and lots more for the kids. Lovely friendly staff.

Really cannot think of anything. Everything we wanted was great.

The lake is lovely. At the campsite, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an excellent pizza and beer at the lakeside bar. The toilet & shower facilities were spotless, and spacious an excellent site!

Great location. Pretty by the lake. Smallish pool when the lake is not in use but brilliantly done. Nice restaurant by the lake but do book.

We waren hier maar 2 nachtjes voordat we verder naar het zuiden gingen. Ontvangst receptie was erg vriendelijk en hartelijk. Toiletgebouw ruim en ok.

We hadden deze camping gekozen omdat het aan een meer ligt zodat we lekker in natuur water zouden kunnen zwemmen. Helaas konden we niet in het meer zwemmen ivm blauwalg.

It's a shame the lake is unusable due to contamination, the site is comfortable, with a excellent toilet and wash facility ,good size pitches, with electricity , the reception staff are excellent , especially poppy who was so helpful, the downside, the restaurant as we are finding in france , burgers or pizzas, considering the lovely views and outlook of the restaurant , a wider choice of dining would be faboulas , nice food and wine , no better setting, otherwise great to stop there

Nos encantó la ubicación cerca del lago y la tranquilidad que se respiraba. Estuvimos muy muy a gusto. Pena de que no pudiéramos darnos un baño en el maravilloso lago por el tema de las bacterias.

Deberían de dar más amplitud a la poca variedad existente en el supermercado del camping, ya que nos obligó a salir fuera a comprar varias veces.

Campsite was quiet and clean. The singer on the Friday night created a great ambience in the bar.

Unfortunately the lake was closed for the summer. We didn't know this before we arrived. Without the use of the lake, the pool was very busy. The on site shop was really poorly stocked, which was poor since there is not another shop in walking distance. The service on the bar wasn't always great

This campsite is the worst we have ever stayed on. There was a fight between 3 men and a woman, one of the men was hitting and threatening to kill the woman. Security from the site came and dissolved the situation but the Gendarmerie were not called. One of the men was removed from the site but only after we complained and insisted on being allowed to move pitch away from that area directly across from them. The next nite we were kept awake by an ambulance after a guy was found unconscious drunk in the pitch next to us.

The site needs to be more considerate of who they allow on site as it appears to be more about capacity than vacation. It is not a pleasant site for a holiday but rather a stop over for one night.

the site, facilities, pool, bar/restaurant and staff were all great! Such a pity that the lake is out of bounds and has been for such a long time, sad to see what could be a fabulous place lying dorment. We enjoyed our stay but may have chosen somewhere else had we realised we couldn't use the lake (paddleboarding/swimming etc). We did do the quad biking though which was great fun!

Two things that would improve guests stay. Obvious to say the biggest improvement would be to have the lake useable, but that seems to be something that could take some time, if indeed it it is ever put right - and we really hope it is sorted, it would benefit the whole area, not just the campsite. The second thing would be have an additional chemical waste point somewhere near to one of the toilet blocks perhaps - it's quite a walk from the opposite end of the site to the waste point at the motorhome emptying point

We had booked and paid for this in advance and then you arrive at the campsite and you hear that you are not allowed to swim in the lake. Not shining for 3 years. Furthermore, a nice campsite with clean sanitary facilities and a nice swimming pool.

The facilities were very clean, restaurant/bar - food was great, lovely staff. Pool was really good too. Must be an excellent place to stopover on the way down and up from the south of France. Lots of 1 - 2 night’s stays.

Perhaps some shaded areas around the pool, as the only bit was from the building which covered about 3 loungers. Not everyone can just lie in full sun.

Convenient location for an overnight stop on our way to the Dordogne.

Compared to last year the site was in poor condition. All the hedges needed cutting back. Getting to our pitch meant driving between hedges that rubbed on both sides of the caravan.

We spent 3 nights here. We visited last year for one night and really wanted to stay longer so this year we did on our way back home from Spain to England.

Ensure that the lake can be accessed as the current water quality prohibits use. This was one of the most important reasons for our return this year. Also ensure that the jacuzzi feature in the excellent pool is working.

We had large site with water and electricity which was close to the extremely clean and modern toilet block, restaurant and reception. There is a lovely swimming pool, although we didn't use it !!! The site was very quiet although to be fair it was out of season. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant whilst overlooking the lake. All members of staff around the entire site were very pleasant and helpful. We look forward to our return to the site whilst on our way home.

This was a very well maintained,well laid out site with modern facilities, spacious pitches and an attractive lake side bistro. Emplacements were provided with water supply as well as electricity but the price was still very reasonable. We particularly loved the swimming pool- clean, never crowded and delightful for serious .swimmers. We loved how eco friendly the site was.

The one feature which could make a huge improvement would be to clear the lake of blue algae so swimming etc could resume but that is probably beyond the power of the campsite. For us the WiFi restriction was also a little awkward.
