Premium Pitch "1st line lake view"

We recently stayed two nights with you and can honestly say we had the most relaxing two days. Beautiful place!
Only one thing we would say is the arrangement with the gate not opening until 8am. We really needed to be out by 7am to hit the road for our ferry, we were told we could pack our van on the road the night before which meant we would of had to carry all our camping equipment up the hill many of times which was not possible. We managed to find someone who opened it for us at 7.45 who said it shouldn’t open until 8am by then we were delayed lots!

We stayed 40A and the view was incredible, beautiful sunset and sunrise to wake up to

We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our family-friendly campsite. We have taken note of your comments and will endeavour to implement your suggestions as soon as possible, within reason, in order to meet the needs of our camping guests. As you know, some points are easier to implement than others, and some are beyond our control. With regard to the opening hours of the entrance gate, we are sorry but we have to ensure the peace and quiet of our campers by limiting noise pollution. It is not pleasant when you are on holiday to be woken up every morning by your neighbours tidying up their belongings or driving around at 6 or 7 a.m. or after 11 or 12 p.m. in the evening. Please be aware that we work every day of the year to try to satisfy you as best we can within our means. We thank you once again for your trust and wish you a very nice day. Great site in great situation, but very expensive campsite.
Our pitch was a good size but sloped back to front and right to left which hard to get our unit level. We had a trailer which was hard to unhitch on the slope without the aid of several other campers.
Accommodation review
Pitch was very near the water so views were great, we did not pay extra to be at the waters edge. But can see why people do it.
Price of a pitch. Not as much organised for the teenagers.

The staff were very helpful, especially when our tent broke. They were super friendly and we couldn’t fault any of the service
Outside of their control, but it was very cold for our entire stay.
Accommodation review
Pitch excellent with plenty of sun and shade (although saw very little sun) Would have been an excellent view of the lake
