We zijn ook blij dat ons team u met een glimlach heeft ontvangen. Wij vinden dat zelfs op een camping een warm welkom essentieel is, want waar blijft dan het plezier? Als je nog andere suggesties of wensen hebt voor je volgende verblijf, laat het ons dan gerust weten. We verwelkomen je graag opnieuw om te genieten van de natuur en, wie weet, misschien zelfs van een kleine wedstrijd voor de “beste staanplaats”! Normally always a place for us
Every year, we visit this campsite on our way through, and it's a success. We always bring a small boat with us on holiday, and the boat trailer is always allowed on the campsite. This year, for the first time, we weren't allowed on the campsite. As an alternative, we had to park in the camper field in front of the campsite. It was a national holiday, and they said the campsite was full. There were still plenty of empty spaces. It's a shame they lied to us. Hopefully, they'll be honest with us again next year.

Very dissatisfied at the service around the snack bar, I was with my family who requested some fries. To be told sorry no we have stopped serving, only to see half an hour later another family being served fries. If you shutting off please be consistent

Customers come to us to order them, so they are automatically served. Has everything you need, we stayed for 3 nights, facilities clean, location close to town and a mile or so away from the Lesuire centre.

We would have rated it excellent, but for the drainage point being too far away and uphill! Also the toilet/ shower block although ok, needs an upgrade. Staff were superb.

Easy walk into town which was nice. Good sized pitches on grass.
Change of attitude in one of the ladies who was extremely rude and told lies about what pitches were available. We were given a hard pitch that was like a building site. When my wife asked politely to be moved she was told there were no pitches available as they were fully booked. I went in and insisted and was given a grass pitch that was extremely difficult to access snd egress. I counted 10 empty pitches that night and 12 the following night. She made it clear we were only there for 2 nights why complain? If that's your customer service we won't be back.

Loved it here for two nights while we had a break from 3 weeks of travelling. Caught up with our washing and enjoyed the shade from the sun with the beautiful trees surrounding the campsite. Everything we needed. Easy walk into the town. Helpful multi lingual staff.

Friendly reception staff on a site that is well placed for a stop over to visit Saverne. It was a short cycle ride to reach the town. The covered pool on site was stiflingly hot so we couldn’t use it.
The shower block was dated but reasonably clean. The site was tricky to find even with SatNav. There was limited info for travellers as this seemed to be a site that catered for people who knew the area.

Location was good - town good and surrounding area nice even though I only had an overnight stop Staff friendly and facilities all ok - good to get into Saverne and Haute Barr and access to the wine route Great to have breakfast delivered to reception to pick up in morning

Platz ist 2 km von der Innenstadt entfernt, Saverne ist sehr schön, Unternehmungen zahlreich möglich in der Innenstadt, entlang der Marne, auf die Burgruine Haut-Barr u.a.

De ligging is prima , leuk uitzicht op een boomgaard met paarden en een manege met weide vol paarden. leuk overdekt zwembad , broodjes service , schone en ruime douches en ‘s-nachts is het stil ondanks de sporthal die in de buurt ligt.

We stayed en route back to Champagne and although it was only for 1 night , we took a hike who to the old Chateau where the views are excellent , there was a small market which set up on the site selling wine and fresh produce . The kids used the pool and we purchased bread, croissants in the morning . Staff were great and the pitch was big enough for us (we’re a big outfit). Will definitely be back .

The pitches and open spaces on the campsite, the “market” with wine tasting, vegetables/fruit and galettes/crepes. Staff was friendly

The access to the alley of pitches was over a quite steep curb, which I don’t like for caravans.

I liked the hammocks and the tarte flambée you can order on Fridays. The staff was friendly and the swimming pool was allright.
I could not find a waste bin near the showers, so I had to take my waste (floss wire, disposable razor blades) to my own site.

Easy access from the A4.or D1004 Lovely location in Saverne Helpful staff Nice open site with grass pitches Good facilities with electricity and water close to each pitch. Bar with basic food, swimming pool, TV room and children’s play area all good. I have used this site several times and the repeat use is proof of my satisfaction.

The pitch allocated was ok but there were many more empty pitches that were better but I wasn’t too bothered. They don’t seem to take unit size into consideration as I had informed them of my caravan size. Convenient location to visit Saverne and locality.

We have used this site as a stop over several times in the las 10 years. Our main criticism is the toilet & shower facilities. They are very basic and haven’t been updated in that time. The site was the busiest we have seen it. Maybe it’s time to refurbish these facilities. We don’t plan to stay there again unless we see that this has been done.

We were on a cycling trip for 4 weeks, and this was by far the best campsite we stayed in. Friendly staff, great tent space for cyclists, hammocks free to use, interesting wooden games, swimming pool, playground, you can also buy local products, and there was a wine degustation as well. From us all the best!

Als je een basiscamping zoekt om van daaruit op stap te gaan, zit je helemaal goed. Fijne grote plek onder de bomen. Een eigen code om de camping op te komen. Toiletten op z’n Frans, maar genoeg en schoon met wc-papier. Douches prima.
Zwembad stelt niks voor en er was geen kampwinkel.

The site is spacious and within a short walk of the lovely town.
The staff, particularly Sandra who was incredibly rude and aggressive. She accused us of running two electricity cables from our Camper. She said she had checked in the morning but we were sitting outside on our pitch all morning and we never saw her. We most definitely didn't have two and she wouldn't apologise and accept she was wrong. There are also no sanitary bins and instead you have to put them in a general bin. These are brimming with bacteria and germs, which can cause illness and contamination if not correctly discarded. Yet they don't have toilet seats for health reasons! Bizarre!

Dog poo on our pitch when we arrived and yes it was poo! Our view was of an abandoned Caravan and tent which had weeds growing around it and mould over it. They have lovely herbs free to take but the planters are not high enough as I witnessed a dog peeing on them.

Sandra (the site manager) who went round the campsite in the morning saw that you had taken 2 shots, but unfortunately she didn't take a photo, so there's no proof. She apologised to you and your wife. But we can see from your comment about the bins that there aren't any, whereas in the toilets there are small bins for all toiletries. Like all campsites, we have a bin for household waste and selective sorting. And all our bins are cleaned and disinfected every week, so there are no bacteria. And the problem with the dogs is that customers don't look after their pets, but you never mentioned that. I think you were annoyed when Sandra told you that she had 2 catches from you. So please come and talk to us about it instead of bashing us on your comment. Thank you very much.

Main sanitation was very dated and newer building had facilities which were not labelled and confusing. I eventually worked out that this buiding had unisex facilities (no problems with this had they been labelled) whilst the older facilities were segregated.
