Der Platz ist klein, aber sehr sauber. Das Waschhaus ist ebenfalls super sauber und für so einen kleinen Platz überraschend gut. Es gibt ein kleines Schwimmbecken und ein Restaurant welches sehr hübsch hergerichtet ist. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Wir haben den Platz kurzfristig besucht, da wir auf Grund der Waldbrände evakuiert wurden, werden ihn uns aber für die Zukunft als Übernachtungsplatz merken.

Very easy going attitude, friendly receptionist. Pitches levelish and well shaded. Good location from the Autoroute and a good bakery and supermarket 20 mins walk away.

Val de Boutonne is a very nice campsite. It’s clean, well maintained, lots of shade on sunny days and in a good location adjacent to an excellent park area. There is an interesting arboretum next to the campsite. The village of St Jean is within easy walking distance.

We were there in low season so can’t really comment on the pool, bar etc, as they were not open, though it’s good that the site has them.

Spacious pitch - very good sanitary facilities - comfortable & secure environment - our stay was only a transient overnight stay - However, we were very impressed with the site & location and would certainly have wished to stay longer

Mooi opgezette camping met ruime plaatsen. Goed en schoon sanitair Aan de rand van een klein plaatsje met leuke restaurantjes. Stadspark aan de overkant. Dit is een camping om te onthouden als doorgangscamping

De toiletgebouwen zijn voor mannen en vrouwen. Dat is geen probleem maar urinoirs vlakbij de ingang van het gebouw vind ik minder

The campsite is lovely. Well kept and the gentleman at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights & would have happily stayed longer. There are lovely walks all around particularly if you have a dog. We will definitely return

Nice tidy pitches, with good space and separation. The pool was very welcome on the hot days we were there, and was very clean. The showers are very good with space and hooks (so many other campsites seem to forget hooks!). Toilets were unisex and in general were clean. No toilet seats or paper as is normal in France.

The grounds needed some attention, e.g. weeding the verges and trimming the hedges lower but that is a minor criticism.

Goede nette camping met mooie plaatsen. Wel veel schaduw door de hoge bomen, sanitair in orde maar slecht verlicht. Wifi tegen betaling. Honden mogen niet op camping worden uitgelaten, maar je moet er wel voor betalen. Park om de hoek en als de brug gerepareerd is ook aan de overkant. Voorjaar geen brood service, intermache is 15 lopen.

Matige verlichting in het sanitair gebouw en geen toilet papier.

Clean, tidy, friendly not overly busy when we were there. Dog friendly and great situation as you just walk out and you're on the banks of the river and the lake, cross the bridge into the park where there was a restaurant, very good according to our neighbours on the site.

Very well kept site with good sized pitches, and very convenient near the autoroute for an overnight stop. But actually it would be a good base to explore the region, with lots to do for day trips.

We arrived late in the day and checked in at reception to a helpful and smiley lady. Our emplacement was large and mostly grassy, a nice family in a camping car beside us. Everybody on sight spoke and smiled, the pool w Is nice and a very peaceful site. Opposite is a large public park which held a jazz evening, nice to listen to. Also a large aide. Definitely recommend and we will be back again. Also.. lovely clean and modern to8lets and facilities.

Nice small campsite with lots of trees and grass to give it a touch of nature. At the reception the welcome was warm. Sanitair looked new and clean. Swimming pool was present although we did not use it because we arrived too late. Guests from France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

I know that it’s a thing in France but my wife was very uncomfortable with the toilets. Shared toilets she doesn’t have an issue with, the placing of the urinals next to the hand basins was a big negative for her, we wouldn’t bring our granddaughters here.

Lovely tree lined site near the river. Walking distance of the town centre. New, clean facilities. Good showers. Washing machines. New to this area so this was a first visit.

For our first trip in our Camping Car this was the perfect site. Reception excellent, Madame was very friendly and helpful. The pitch was excellent, easy access to everything
