We stayed 2 nights at this no-frills campsite while visiting Cahors. The grounds were very nice and green. The location was perfect. It’s about a 40 min walk to Cahors. I recommend bringing bikes. We had the amenities we needed for our camping van. The sanitaires could of been cleaned more often during the day. Also provide everyone with curfew hours while checking in. We came back around 23h after having dinner in town and were locked out. Not fun.

Clean the sanitaires more often. Or having all sanitaires open. Provide all rules while checking in. Especially the curfew hours.

Good pitches with hedges between them. Walk into Cahors quite a hike! Some buses from 1/2 way - but infrequent.

Site is well managed , with large pitches. Washing/toilet facilities exceptionally clean. Very nice swimming pool (Although sadly we didn't have the weather to use it)

Bar closes at 7.30pm. We would have to spend longer in there. Also, although there is a well advertised free bus into town, be aware that the bus stop is at least a kilometres from the campsite

I found everything about the campsite excellent. Price facilities, owners and staff, two swimming pools. Indeed it was so good I extended my stay and am returning for three weeks next year.

The young lady who mat us in reception was very knowledgeable very helpful and her English was excellent, she gave a site plan which was in English which also had a map of the lovely city with places that you could visit, toilets and shower facilities were very clean and hot water which you can control. Because our visit was April there was still some facilities not open, i.e. pool and the bar, but that why we come away at this time of year because it’s quiet which we like. Would stay again

Second visit to Camping RIVIERE DE CABESSUT. The pitches are of a good size and we found it to be a very quiet site, which suits us. The facilites are excellent, clean and up to date. The swimming pool is very good, more suitable for families with children, but we did enjoy cooling off there on a hot day. Well located for accessing the beautiful town on Cahors either on foot or cycle.

The motorhome facilities are tucked away on a field which seems to be a bit of an overflow for caravans and motorhomes. It is a bit too close to one of the pitches and would obviously be disruptive to anyone camping nearby. It would be better is it could be relocated away from the pitches and nearer the entrance area.

After traveling for 3 months and using many campsites across Europe, this would have to be the best by far. Superb spacious pitches, excellent facilities, fantastic pool, with separate kiddies area, family pool and main pool. Great site services for motorhome travel with bread and croissant available at reception daily, and visiting vegetable market supplier and evening Rotisserie or Pizza.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment au camping. C'était calme, l'accueil est excellent, les sanitaires propres et toujours de l'eau chaude. Piscine très agréable et possibilité de commander des pizzas sur place.

Même si il est possible d'acheter des bouteilles d'eau congelés pour la glacière (1Euro), l'accès à un congélateur pour pouvoir mettre les blocs de glace personnels aurait été appréciable, c'est le cas dans la plupart des campings.

Narrow access road but didn't have any major issues. Friendly reception but was surprised to find transactions were cash only. Local information given. Given plan of site to choose your own pitch. Choice of full shade or semi shade. Be aware of low branches on some pitches. Decent sized pitches, hedged, so allowing privacy. Only one facility block open early June but proved adequate. Good laundry facilities. Pool and bar on site but bar wasn't open when we were there. Walk into Cahors less than 30 minutes all on flat. Good market in centre when we were there. Nice site.

Make it clear on website what dates the bar and snacks facilities will be open we were disappointed to find the bar closed. Card payment at reception?? People don't always carry cash.

Lovely spacious pitches amongst bushes and trees to provide shade if needed. Clean modern toilet and shower facilities, plenty of hot water for showers and washing-up. Friendly, helpful staff and a very nice swimming pool. All made for a cracking stay which we extended by two days as we didn’t want to leave

A lovely clean site the only down side was the weather, staff were very helpful and friendly, went early season so the bar and pool weren’t open ,toilets and showers were clean and tidy a short walk into Cohors , which is a lovely town, we would stay again,

The pool as empty ( we visited in early May , 22 degrees on our final day ) . The grass was too long .

Lovely location 10 minute cycle/ 25 minute walk to the town, very friendly reception and clean toilet & shower blocks with plenty of hot water.

Unfortunately, due to the time of season the pool & bar/restaurant we’re not open and the grass on the pitch was quite long so felt the price was a little high at 47€ for 2 nights
