We stayed in the gites which were lovely. Great site, great pool, nice restaurant!

We have stayed the last 2 weeks of August for the last 3 years. this year the entertainment was poor in comparison which was disappointing.

Really well designed and run site with all the facilities you need and with very friendly and helpful staff. This was our 5th visit and each time it’s got a little better, especially after the building work before last year’s season. The pitches are a good size and it’s easy to walk into town and to the local beaches. Facilities such as toilets and the bar are clean and the shop is well stocked for basics and the daily baguette/croissant run. Our kids love it here and it’s become our regular summer site- they never want to go anywhere else when we ask!

The padel court hire was expensive for the hour. It’s not really the fault of the site but we had a few close calls with children riding around on their bikes, unaware of other road users.

Our 9th year staying at L’Oceano d’Or,lovely weather. Pitches are a good size,new Restaurant did not disappoint, Thibault and the team do an excellent job looking after the many guests,highly recommended.

We originally found L'Oceano d'Or in August 2006 when stopping at St Gilles. We loved the site and the central location to Jard sur Mer straight away. The years passed and during that time a pair of twin girls came along, so we subsequently had three holidays in our tent in 2012, 13 and 15. Even though it was a fantastic site, over the past ten years there have been notable improvements right across which has made it even better. Especially around the entertainment area, which is a hive of activity. We're looking to come back in two years time.

The site is well maintained, staff are very friendly and helpful. Its location is perfect, being just a short stroll from the town and has access to a range of cycle routes.

Struggling to think anything!

Sheltered (by tree) pitch but also able to access sun. Good value restaurant. Nice bar area (used a lot). Close to Jard centre. Sayed nine years ago. Much improved.

Nice pool facilities that kept the children entertained. Nice restaurant & shop facilities. Easy walk to a lovely French town & pretty port.

Slow service at bar

We have stayed here for a number of years and keep coming back due to its ideal location. With a supermarket, fuel station, village centre, beach, marina and excellent restaurants all within a 20 minute walk I hardly need to use the car. The site received a lot of upgrades last year which improved an already excellent site

Low level branches could be removed to ensure they do not damage the roof of caravans on pitches P0 - P44

Came for the first time as a centre rally. Lovely pool, good food in the restaurant, kids playground, everywhere was very clean. Would definitely recommend x

Lovely place with plenty to do, facilities regularly cleaned, lovely staff.

Husband could not use pool as swimwear was restricted to Speedo’s they said for hygiene reasons but people were playing games in Speedo’s

This site was very clean, showers were excellent, quite big and shelves for washing bag and clothes. The swimming pool was very good and very clean and always enough chairs . We also ate in the restaurant which was very nice with a lovely man serving us. Even though it was busy our food was very good and hot and no problems at all, the whole month was very good, we would recommend this site to anyone thinking of going there without hesitation.

Staff was helpful and polite. Pool was fist class. The young couple in the shop were so helpful.

More shade ( umbrellas ) around the pool must be consideration. If you run a rally maybe bins put closer it was a long way to walk for older people .

We really enjoyed the holiday park it had everything we needed, the chalet was comfortable and the emplacement was perfect for our relaxing time. The facilities on site were great, including the swimming pools and the shop. Staff were really helpful and we enjoyed hiring the bikes and exploring the local area. The site is perfect to visit the village and the market.

We don’t think there is anything you could improve we loved our holiday.

Clean and tidy site, fantastic swimming pool, large camping pitches, adjustable water temperature in shower, large shower cubicles, good bar and restaurant, lots of plants and flowers around site, good well stocked shop,lovely staff, easy access to town and beach.

We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival at how modern and attractive the campsite was. We simply "chilled out" for most of our stay, with visits to various attractions locally.

We liked the pool area and the on site shop. The food take away was good. Good amount of sanitary blocks.

Toilet paper in the cubicle would be good. Some entertainment in English would have been nice. More information given on arrival would have been useful, maybe a booklet with same as received on other sites.

A let down from previous years holiday there the life guards at the pool not stopping people going down the slides 3 and 4 at a time an accident wating to happen onlso the general appearance of the site hedges not trimmed back litter restaurant just serving fast food slowly yes a LETDOWN FROM EARLIER STAYS

Pool was great, accommodation really good. Staff helpful, onsite shop good. Onsite park excellent

Drains were smelly, older children would struggle to be entertained. More entertainment for rainy days, older childrens play equipment a bit dated and tattered. Pool was great but perhaps not as big as some other parks (e.g lazy river is part of existing pool) therefore it got very very busy. I got whacked in the nose twice with balls in the indoor pool and was glad it wasn’t my children (it hurt!) but it’s because it’s busy and there’s no real rules. It was so busy the first week (still French summer hols) that it looked like a shanty town when we came in - tents literally everywhere.

Excellent tent pitch with personal ‘shed’ with powerful shower, toilet, sink, mirror, hanging rails etc. Also covered area for all your camping cookware, lots of sockets plus the hook up, sink, cupboard and a good sized fridge. Great pools and slides, plentiful and available loungers. Sanded play area was superb as were the table tennis tables dotted around. 3 bars dotted around which were always staffed. Flat and safe for bike riding around camp. Lovely on site restaurant; we ate out too and on site was on par so well done.

Toilets in the bar areas were clean but smelly. Odd as communal toilets around camp didn’t have the same issues.

Site has a nice atmosphere. Very helpful staff, receptionists/ restaurant staff were great.

Swimming pool area felt almost too small for the number of clients on hot days, particularly availability of loungers.

The accommodation, site, facilities, entertainment and staff were all 5 star. My family and I absolutely loved our stay, we cant wait to come back next year. Everyone was so friendly, everything was so clean. There is something to do for everyone..

I loved my stay at Chadotel, from the fabulous campsite where you can take a dip from 10am in the pool or hop into the jacuzzi pool which was a real treat for me. There were plenty of toilet blocks where we could shower and use the lavatory. There were sinks to wash our dishes quickly and easily. A well stocked shop that we frequented for ice cream and water every day. The kids were delighted as there was a climbing frame, soccer pitch and basketball court. We had a fabulous pitch where we could hear the laughter and chat around us in the evenings as people cooked up their meals on BBQs.

It would be even better if soccer pitch was separated from basketball court because if you fall playing soccer, which is inevitable, you fall on concrete which happened to my son. An astro type surface would be ideal.

Had a lovely stay. Had a pitch with private facilities which was good although a window would be good in bathroom as in the sun it was very hot in there.

Not great for English as the entertainment day and night in French. Not much to do in the local area. Not well directed to walk into the local town, we needed to use Google Maps.
