Very close to the beach, great shower facilities, all very clean. Lovely swimming pool. Bouncy castle and park for the children was great. Laundry facilities good and efficient.

Service in the restaurant was not great. Long wait for our order, especially the dessert, no glasses brought for the wine, despite asking a few times - I had to go to the bar to ask for some myself. No cutlery brought with dessert and again didn't bring a spoon even when asked. Not much stock in the shop.

On a apprécié la vue du soir Et on a apprécié la petite terrasse avec la petite cuisine pour les randonneurs (on ne sait pas trop si on en avait le droit).

Il n’y avait aucun coin d’ombre sans l’hôtel. Nous sommes un groupe de cyclistes, 3 adultes et 3 enfants, et nous avons trouvé cela difficile. Nous aurions aimé. Plus de coins d’ombres à accès libre dans les parties communes. Également plus d’ombre autour de la piscine aurait été apprécié, par exemple avec plus de parasols. L’accès à la plage aurait été plus facile avec un code au portillon. Le système de clé n’est pas optimal. « Rupture de stock » pour le papier toilettes. Pour un camping 5 étoiles, cela reste très surprenant. La supérette n’était pas très achalandée.

Excellent site, very close to beach, good facilities, well laid out. Accomodation was clean and well thought out, excellent decking with furniture for eating out, shaded, it was reaching 35 degrees,

Shop is not the best, very basic, order bread the day before and not open on Mondays.

We had a great three night stay at La Dune de Sables. The proximity to the beach is it's biggest selling point for us and the campsite itself is well equipped and the pool area is great. Nice pizzas too.

Had a week here had a pitch on the front almost on the beach which was worth the extra . Its in a fantastic location especially if you have bikes . Facilities all good showers are hot. Pool area is lovely but as you expect it gets busy. Super market 15 mins away on the bike ... Good motorhome area get your water before you go to pitch . Nice bar what more would you want

This is a beautiful site with great facilities, and close proximity to both the town of Sables D’Olonne and the incredible ‘sunset beach’ that adjoins the site. Our second year here, and we’ll be back.

Very clean accommodation, lovely pool, and beach access - ideal for watching the sunsets.

Pitches a bit close together. Some colourful shrubs and plants would be nice. Pizzas were lovely but the wait for them was often more than 2 hours! It was great to have a small shop on site but it would have been better if it stocked more groceries.

Perfect location with direct access to a long unspoilt beach. The large swimming pool was warm with separate pools for children with slides and there were plenty of sun beds. Great bar, restaurant and patio area overlooking the pool. Very clean separate toilet and shower blocks with generous space.

The 2 steps leading onto the deck with the boat outside the toiles needs a light as it is pitch dark when trying to step down them at night.

The proximity to La Chaume and Les Sables D L’Onne. The mobile home was clean and comfortable providing us with everything we needed. The staff were pleasant and friendly

We struggled with hot water in the kitchen sink and bathroom basin but strangely enough not in the shower. The idea that you have to book an appointment for someone to check the mobile home prior to departure when you have to vacate by 10.00am is frustrating when they know that people are leaving they should just turn up. When I went to check out the reception told I had to wait until the home was inspected. This did not spoil my holiday it is just an observation.

The location and facilities in the local area were excellent. A lovely setting for a holiday with plenty of available activities in the local area but also plenty of opportunity to relax in tranquil surroundings.

The accommodation was not clean when we arrived with dirty blankets in one bedroom. There was no kettle available to make tea or coffee. We booked bed linen and towels but only received disposable sheets.

We had a fabulous holiday here. The Location is superb and general atmosphere was also great. The campsite had a nice chillout feel to it. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The requirement to have a key for the beach gate and entrance gate. There should be an automatic car registration reader to open the entrance barrier and a key code on the beach gate. The pool area could also be improved and is a bit dated compared to other campsites. The lack of an indoor pool when the weather is poor could be a problem as well.
