From the moment we arrived (my husband, our son, who's at university and myself) we were greeted with such a warm welcome. The pitch was beautifully maintained, so clean and tidy and surrounded by shrubs, flowers and trees, perfect for the wildlife, the balance was spot on! The restaurant served the most delicious food, something for all of us. The swimming pool was excellent, clean and plenty of sunbeds! The toilet block was spotless. The whole holiday was so relaxing for all of us, all the staff were exceptional, and a perfect location - a short stroll to the seafront to watch the sunset!

Nice surrounding area and staff attentive and always helpfull . I used the title September because they do reduce activities and services which is common in France but might make people annoyed if they expect everything shown I Web site . I did not have any issues with this personnely.

Heavy rain one night which encouraged alot mostiqto the next day when area was damp and humid . Not much the site can do about this as they clean pitch before every arrival.

The welcome was warm and friendly and that theme stayed throughout our stay. The staff were always on hand and available to answer any questions we may have. We had a great pitch which fully suited our needs. We did not use the restaurant but the morning bread service and evening takeaway were great. The campsite is well placed in Port Punay with easy access to all that the village and nearby Châtelaillon-Plage have to offer.

I'm absolutely positive surprised about camping au port punay. Very friendly atmosphere. Kids can used all area to drive on bikes, scooters or running with 100%safety. Staff were very friendly definitely I would like to recomend this camping for everyone.

Maybe only more lights on main avenue.

We have stayed here for a few years now and always keep coming back to this peaceful, relaxing campsite. Staff are brilliant and the area lovely.

Staff were really friendly & helpful. Camping pitch was huge & like the whole site was well maintained. The whole site is kept clean. The area is beautiful with lots of places to eat & a lovely small beach close by or a larger beach 2.5K away where there is a fabulous market twice weekly.

No shops nearby except 1 small supermarket approx 2.5K away. Only really restaurants in both towns.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you would like to visit or stay near to La Rochelle. The campsite is a gem and it really comes across as a caring, family owned campsite Everything is super organised and scrupulously clean. The staff are happy and attentive and the stunning location is a total winner. The campsite is near to a variety of restaurants plus mussel and oyster bars. We went kayaking on the sea and there are also lots of safe (and flat!) cycle paths to La Rochelle and the surrounding area.

An amazing campsite. This site was full when we were there but still maintained a calm and relaxed atmosphere. We never had to wait for showers or toilets and always managed to get a place around the pool.

Reception team amazing. Sadly poor information given about arriving during a festival with road closures meant a horrible end to a long 9hr journey.

Pool tiny, not very clean and lots of babies in deep end (mainly due to size - very deceiving pics on website) Takeaway pizzas very poor - made with ready made (cardboard) bases and for €10 euros expected more. Noisy at night, hardly slept.

Camp was very clean and well run. The reception was very helpful and multilingual.

The site was small but very densely packed with sites. This made maneuvers difficult in a larger unit. Also made it feel very busy....okay if you like that kind of thing. The motorhome service area was too small and impossible to get into in anything larger than a transit van and there was a charge for water.

We stayed for 5 nights in June 2023 on a pre booked basis. The area and grounds are lovely with lots of pitches having shade, toilets and bathrooms are cleaned every day, the shop stocks the essentials. The swimming pool area large with sun loungers and super.

We thought the €20 booking fee was not fair because this is added to your bill. This meant we stayed for 5 nights but paid for 6 nights.

Push taps with low water pressure to fill water barrel up with was a real pain especially when told I couldn’t use my short hose to aid the process due to hygiene concerns???? A but odd given it was covered in bird droppings. Shower sprays were also too fine .

Really well maintained site. Super clean, great pitches and very helpful staff. The immediate area and La Châtelaillon-Plage is absolutely stunning with lots of lovely bars and places to eat. We will definitely come back again.

The site was expensive, including €8 per day electricity charge and single use of washing machine was €6.50 !!
