Calm, peaceful, cleaning, very good to relax, read, enjoy the stars and the birds song, easy to make some exercise around the island also.

It was all so easy! And the campsite is great. Wonderful pool, great safari tent and lovely staff. I really recommend Seasonova at Porte en Ré especially for kids

I wish there had been toilet facilities in our tent but next time I’ll book a cabin. It would have been good to have more deck chairs as there were three of us and only two chairs.

Staff was extremely friendly. The campsite was relatively quiet after 22.30 which is exactly what we wanted.

Campsite is a great location. Walking distance to the village and the beach. Some facilities were not available or had limited availability such as bar , food and swimming pool

We were working remotely but the WiFi was unusable, we ended up having to get a refund. So.e services were not available

C'est vraiment super de trouver encore des campings qui ne ferment pas mi septembre. On peut encore profiter du climat. Surtout qu'il a fait très beau cette quinzaine.

Un peu plus d'assiduité pour le nettoyage des sanitaires serait un plus. Mais faut avouer que peu après le nettoyage par le responsable, c'était à nouveau sali. certains campeurs ont vraiment de la peine a respecter le minimum de propreté et de respect tel que juste tirer la chasse d'eau après avoir fait leurs besoins.

Perhaps a sheet of paper listing market days, local restaurants and a village map - would all be useful.

Great little site with all the necessary amenities. Very helpful staff who were attentive and diligent in their work. The toilets and showers were cleaned 3 times a day at the same time every day. We booked a large pitch and it was larger than on most sites that you would find in the UK. The town was small but bustling and had a varied selection of shops and restaurants which served excellent food and wine. Using bikes we explored the area which is completely flat and bike friendly. All the nearby towns are picturesque with lovely markets, shops and restaurants. St Martin was our favourite.

Great location for North of the island. Very close to beautiful beach and fabulous restaurants.

The pitches are in need of attention. We had a dangerous, unsecured drainage grid at the entrance. The ground was sand/dirt which turned into mud very quickly.

It was really peaceful when we were there (end June) but appreciate that was outside school holidays. Amenities all clean and well laid out. Good shade which was great as it was very hot! Staff were super helpful and friendly, liked being able to order fresh pastries and bread for the morning

Reception was welcoming, pool was small but never crowded. The snack bar drinks were very limited and a shame they didn’t sell wine by the glass. Toilets and showers were good, never had to queue.

A bit more drinks selection at the bar. Open the bar for bread at 8.00.

Lovely site near to the beach and lovely town. Reasonable size plots with shade and a lovely pool.

The website said arrive from 2 pm. The reception did not open until 3.10 pm. There were three groups of us waiting. No explanation given just the receptionist altering the time from 2 - 3 on the information sheet provided. The other issue was the bins which are by the entrance. Over flowing and a very strong bad smell. We were there three days and the bins just got more full and more smelly.

Loved the location itself and the easy access to nearby beaches. We cycled all over the area and were very impressed with the paths and ease of access to nearby villages

Would have liked more water taps around the site

A quiet, peaceful stay with plenty of space on our pitch. Pool area was nice. Easy access to the many beautiful cycle paths and beaches. Supermarket very near.

The pitches are large and surrounded by vegetation giving lots of natural shade. The toilets and showers are always perfectly clean. The staff are super friendly and eager to make the stay enjoyable. Close to beach and lovely little town. Access to great cycle paths

The place for filla motorhome with water and emptying waste is difficult to access.

Friendly and helpful receptionist, good sized pitches, clean facilities. Nice location, close to beaches and marshes for birdwatching. Great cycle routes, although we didn't use them because of bad weather. The village was lovely too.

The press button showers didn't last long, but they were warm so it's a small complaint.

Not very much to like about this place except that it was quiet.

The whole site needs to be tidied up - the whole area was littered with dried leaves and the chalets looked ancient. Unfortunately, the appearance of the site was very disappointing

We had a very quiet peaceful spot at the end of the island, hence, no traffic at the end of the road! The site was tidy and amenities good. Within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach and ‘centre ville’. Porte en Re has a supermarket with everything you’d need when in a ‘camping car’. We didn’t use any eateries as we were self catering but the restaurants appeared popular. The cycling network is brilliant AND it’s flat! You don’t need to use a car until you leave if you take your own bikes. There are also lots of bike hire centres dotted across the island.

We went mid September, after the peak. The toilets were short of paper when required! And a couple of times the toilets weren’t fully clean.Take your own soap and towels for handwashing. Not really any downside otherwise.
