Stayed here in July 2025 and this was our 4th stay at La Foret. Greg and Wiebke are lovely people and can't do enough to make sure your holiday is everything you wish for. I can't recommend it enough.

This is the most Tranquil & Peaceful campsite/lodges you will ever visit run by a lovely family. Location you are spoilt for choice from the exit for a bike ride by velodyssey or a walk by a path in the shade of the forest that takes us directly to the beautiful beaches of Vendée. And what about the infrastructure: everything is tasteful, beautifully decorated lodges equipped with quality equipment, carefully maintained pitches and vegetation. And a special mention for the quality of its welcome and the kindness of its staff always listening to its guests.

On a passé une semaine de rêves chez Camping La Forêt. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine et la forêt juste en face qui mène à une plage superbe. Le mobile home était immaculé et bien équipé. Le site était calme et bien maintenu, et les propriétaires et tous les employés souriants nous ont fait nous sentir très à l’aise. On a apprécié la salle à jeux, le bar-snack et le service boulangerie. On espère revenir l’année prochaine!

Le SEULE chose serait que la température de l’eau à la douche était difficile à régler. C’est tout. On a adoré notre visite!

We enjoyed the location and facilities at Camping Resort La Foret. Great to be able to walk into the forest from our accommodation and onto the beach.

We would have liked a toaster in the chalet.

I have been coming to this campsite for years, and every year it is the perfect place to relax for a few weeks. It is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, the weather is almost always pleasant, the people are helpful, and the forest is beautiful.

Having previously pitched a tent, my adult daughter and I decided to rent a mobile home this time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Verywell equipped, comfortable and spotless. The site is extremely well-run and has the best moules frites ever and the beach (and short walk through the forest to get there) is large and, even in July, fairly empty. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 9 nights and it was perfect! We were running late for check in and this wasn't an issue at all, the staff are all so lovely and helpful with anything you need. Spoke very good English which we were very grateful of as our French could do with some work! The site was quiet and very well located, lovely beach and lots of wildlife including a Tawny Owl and a hummingbird moth! Recommend the pizza they offer too! The Swimming pool was gorgeous, really nice and clean. We charged our car in the car park, very useful service and a good price. Can't wait to come back next year! LOVED IT

For us the first time in a small house on a camping, luckily it was not noisy from the other people who live close together. The place is ideal to explore the long beaches and forests with your dog. The forest is nice in the shade when it is warm and along the sea you have enormous beaches when the tide is out.

Small point of improvement that will be solved automatically in the future will be the privacy. The plants between the houses are now very small, because of this we sometimes had the feeling that we were on holiday with the neighbours. It is also a bit more uncomfortable to relax in your own bubble bath, but those are only really small things.

A gate to allow blocking the entryway to stop dogs escaping would be good.

We were very impressed with the whole site, clean, excellent facilities, just the right size and hosted superbly by Gregory and Wibke and their team, who all go over and above to ensure a great holiday experiences.

Uniquely configured, pampering, spotlessly clean Villa, with Spa. Owners and staff, superb! Wish we could have stayed for longer. Look forward to a return visit.

Had a great stay for 3 nights with my husband and son. The lodge was fantastic - superbly decorated and finished, private outdoor area and wonderful whirlpool tub outside. The resort is a short but lovely walk to the beach through a forest path. I was really impressed with the site and would definitely recommend and return

We loved returning to La Forêt and discovering the new villas! So comfortable, private and perfectly placed for retracing footsteps of our memories past.

Sand path to villa was very slippery, I fell over.

The house was excellent. 500 m from the beach with a wood between house and beach. On the camping a basis but nice looking swimming pool. Everything was clean and good looking.

We stayed in one of the cabins with jacuzzi and the accommodation was superb. Lovely and clean , great reception from Killian who explained how everything worked. Although not spacious inside it had everything that we needed or required and the bonus was having our private jacuzzi where we could relax after a day of local touring. The campsite is very quiet and suited our needs exactly. Thank you.

Our holiday home was immaculately clean. It was perfectly placed near the forest and beautiful beach. Really nice to have the beach garden area and covered area.

Wonderful new accommodation combines with the long-standing superb hospitality by a friendly and welcoming family-run site. Every detail is attended to, yet the site culture of peaceful family-friendly relaxation is maintained. Congratulations! I do not give 10/10 ratings easily, but the team has really excelled on every level and has maintained the highest standards for over 10 years of our visits. We have recommended the site to our friends who have stayed and said exactly the same as us.
