There was nothing I did not like.

Despite notices about open fires and the dry weather experienced lately there were families with open fires. Security needs to be stepped up.

It was OK, but disappointing that they could not offer a function room for our Club's events

It seemed a bit mean for there to be no kettle or scissors in this class of accommodation. Given the quality of the barbeque (which came with no tools), its daily hire charge seemed excessive. The opening hours of reception, shop etc were not customer friendly.

We stayed for a week as part of a much larger group and were impressed by the site. The staff were very friendly, polite and always available. The location was lovely, being by the lake was a bonus and being able to walk around it was nice. The outdoor pool area was clean, modern and easy to access from all the types of accommodation. The indoor pool was small but clean and a real bonus when the weather was cooler. We enjoyed mini golf and the on-site shop had an excellent range of produce at reasonable prices. We loved our daily croissant from the shop for breakfast -delicious!

The only thing to improve would be when we arrived we were given our keys and found the static home hadn’t been cleaned - it had the previous occupants’ rubbish and bedding in, plus it was visibly dirty. We had arrived a couple of hours early and would happily have waited in the bar until 4pm if they had asked. We think the man who checked us in didn’t realise. Once reported, the staff quickly came to clean it so the problem was promptly resolved.

The accommodation was a bit basic and tired, The indoor pool was a long way from the outdoor one.

Loved the campsite, the entertainment was great, children had a blast. All the activities were ace.

The bar area could be spruced up a little and the toilets at the bar could be modernised and better lit.

We had a great week on this site, the location was great, we were close to the main area but felt secluded and had privacy on the edge of the forest.

The pony riding is a shambles, the ponies are not trained, they leave you to take the pony with no supervision. The person in charge of the ponies seems to struggle with the animals and the customers. She was bucked off the horse and broke her arm, my daughter had been on that horse 10 minutes earlier. It's dangerous.

Most of the staff were friendly, nice layout of the site and plenty of facilities. Well stocked shop. When the bar was open (only weekends) it was very pleasant.

Lots of things needed attention. Dangerous handrails near lake/pool. Insecure doors on mobile home, broken blind, broken door catch, nettles on entry, Restaurant understaffed for a large group. Food wasn't good. The staff that were working were brilliant, doing their best.

We have stayed at Parc de Fierbois many times. This stay was equally as enjoyable as the others.

The park was very tidy and all the staff helpful.

The waste recycling area near the gate was confusing about what went where. Maybe try to allocate areas for each type of waste and clearly signpost them. There was a lot of mixing of types of waste.

Some basic additional kitchen equipment would be useful - e.g grater for cheese More sun beds- always gone unless queuing for 30 minutes before the pool opened. Lake unfortunately closed but made a difference to pool numbers and available activities

We loved the forest/lake side setting. The staff were fun, friendly and always very helpful and responsive. There were so many activities available day and night to keep everyone entertained. The pool was clean and good temperature. Our mobile was spotless.

Location of mobile (under trees) meant deck was a slippy when wet, minor problem and one that a quick hose/scrub will resolve.

We went as part of a large classic car group. Our group organiser liaised with Christine the owner of the Parc and everything went very well. We had large gatherings each evening and were able to put a large tent up to accomodate us all for each event. One evening we had a quiz night which we were allowed to hold on the large verandah outside the restaurant. Another evening we had a pre arranged meal for over 100 of us organised by the restaurant staff. The meal was delicious and the staff so friendly and professional.

This is our second stay at this site in 6 years and we thought the site has definatly maintained its charm. The facilities for children are great our little boy and us made good use of the tennis courts, table tennis, football pitch, and pool area. The entertainment provided was really good and quite tasteful something for everyone The Saturday evening band were particularly good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff that helped out when i stupidly turned up a day early for our holiday. We will definitely return in the future.

The life guards could do with a bit more training, especially about the use of mobile phones at the poolside, as this is a distraction where their main focus should be on the safety of the pool area. There were some that did their job well but a couple that let the site down.

Lots to do, nice location, great shop. Staff worked hard and easy to communicate with. Great for families. Little bit out of the way for a short trip into town, but easy roads and local shops etc.

Restaurant couldn't cope with large groups of people, takeaway was shut. Toilet blocks nearby to pitches closed, others were broken/showers cold etc. Early season visit not recommended as lots of campsite issues not been fixed prior to opening. Take a long time to refund a deposit. Everything comes with an unnecessary charge - get charged to park near chalet/pitch additional cost!
