A 6 day break in a chalet which was perfect and had all amenities we needed, great shower which is a big plus.
Inside the TV location could be better for the darker evenings, but a minor point. The WiFi inside was a little poor, possibly they could offer a WiFi booster hire? Just a basic plug in? Fishing nearby but need a licence for the lake (this is not the Carte Pêche but a separate one for the lake) , easy to get from the Super U, 8 mins away. We fished the river Sarthe (dep 72 carte de pêche required, are online), loads of places to try. Lots of hard fighting Barbel in the river, multiple catches each day.

WiFi was not great, but time to put your phones down, so a good thing.

The young lady on reception was very good at English and was very helpful in making our stay amenable. The pitch was big, the electric and water was close to hand. Water sports available very close to the campsite.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our sanitary facilities. We do our best to keep this area clean, with our teams cleaning it twice a day. However, this is a shared space for campers, so it is everyone's responsibility to keep it clean after use. We are unable to clean after each camper, which is why we ask everyone to leave this area as clean as possible after use, in addition to our daily cleaning rounds and restocking of soap and toilet paper.

Nice size pitches with shade if wanted. Well established Hedges. Staff very helpful and efficient.
The whole site was almost empty and we couldn't understand why? Soon discovered.....bus load of kids for a week. Nothing against kids enjoying themselves., laughing, cheering having loads of fun....BUT, why was it necessary to have the very loud music with a thumping beat...morning, afternoon and evening? Spoilt our otherwise lovely week and explained why nobody else stayed there!! Not enough electricity. Several people searching for a place to plug-in. WiFi? What WiFi!? Tried all week and nothing worked !!

We parked our camper van on a large private grass pitch Stacy was an excellent host who looked after us wonderfully. It’s definitely worth trying the local cider and the new restaurant overlooking the lake (a few minutes away).

Really enjoyed our overnight stop at this site.Only downside wss there was no water to the handbasins in the ge ts toilets and also the hand drier wasnt working. That said i would definitely come back and stay at this site.

Second visit to this site. Friendly welcome both times and bread and pastries offered for the morning. Nice site with ample clean facilities and by the lake with inland beach and swimming area. However, not a fault of the site but there is not a lot to do in the area if the weather is poor. Le Mans isn't far and worth a visit.

Good sized pitch with easy to reach electric connection, not always the case.
Despite there being lots of empty pitches in sunny areas we were allocated a pitch in the shade with no grass whatsoever. Unfortunately, it had been raining before our arrival so it was basically just mud. We're sure an alternative would have been offered had we gone back to the office but as we arrived just before they closed it was too late so made do. And we were only there for 2 nights anyway. The pitch we had last year was much nicer though.

Super site, plenty to do, great walks, lake, cycle all nearby. Short drive to the town which has interesting history plus a large supermarket! The site was clean with plenty of showers etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

The location is really nice, right by the lake. It remained a good temperature in the forest even though it was a heatwave. The freezer for ice packs and the microwave were good for us. The staff were so lovely and friendly. The pitches were a great size (so huge compared to other places).
Toilet seats and toilet paper. There was a microwave in the ladies' toilet, which was very odd! I think to improve your eco-credentials you should do food waste composting.

We didn't arrive due to our trip being delayed as my husband had an operation. Campsite would not alter our date as we had booked through ACSI and didn't have a flexi booking nor give us a refund even though it was for medical reasons. It appears the campsite were still under the impression we were coming and had stayed!

You got your own little patch of land surrounded by a hedge that kind of gave you some privacy.
Had to get out to do the entry code by the time I had ran back to my right hand drive the security gate was coming back down.

The toilet and shower block nearest to us was out of order. There was limited toilets and showers available to use which sometimes resulted in waiting for a toilet or shower. Otherwise really good and would consider coming back
