Comfortable beds with electric lamp and extra plug points which was an unexpected bonus. Was nice and clean.

No toilet paper in toilets. Would be useful to have more hooks in the showers and also a small bench seat to make it easier to get dressed.

The staff were pleasant and helpful

We stayed twice at the campsite. The first stay the toilet blocks were not very clean but we’re better on the second stay. I stayed in the Nomad tent. On the first stay it had no light and just two basic beds with nylon covers one of which was ripped. This cost as much as staying in a simple hotel which comes with both lighting and sheets and the Eu 350 deposit is a ridiculous amount of money and having to book an inspection. The wooden floor is very rough and if I had not worn shoes as soon as I got out of bed I would have got splinters. I do not think it was very good value.

The camping has potention: good location next to lake and activity center, it has its own pool and facilities for a bar/take-away. But everything is dissapointing: dirty sanitaire, often nobody at the reception, bar open max 1 hour per week, and not many customers: very quiet. The reserved bed sheets were not available, with no solution offered. The lady at the reception is very friendly, but has to deal with complaining customers only, so she is dejected. The tent (victoria lodge) was good, but very dusty and not well cleaned. Pool was nice and opening hours were good!

We stopped over for two nights with the family. The site looks pretty in the trees with the tents.

However, there were no forks or a kettle in our tent. The toilet facilities were dirty and never cleaned whilst we were there. The bar, cycle hire and reception was rarely open and it was difficult to find or contact support. The lake opposite was nice but had a bacterial disease so no one was able to swim in it. There was a little pool on the campsite which was perfect for cooling off but the young adults who were looking after the site didn’t open the pool until 2pm and it was 35 degrees which was tricky for our children to cope in heat. Unfortunately the staff were rude.

The office closed early for the 4-7pm check-in, no bedding as per our order and front door of tent was broken. 2 x Loos broken and generally was not clean wash facilities. Spent the night freezing under towels with the front door open. Terrible visit especially with 2 young kids after driving 500 miles. Ordered pizza and they even manager to burn that!!!

There was no one at reception. We randomly the number - no answer. We were lucky that someone who worked at the lake were able to get us the code.

It was near the lake.

Reception closed. No toilet paper. Chemical waste toilet door locked and nobody had a key. Sinks not clean.

The setting on the lake was stunning and the perfect weather was a bonus

The campsite looked a little tired & the toilet & shower blocks were covered in leaves & obviously are not cleaned regularly. Maybe as it is early season things are not up to standard which is a shame as the setting was perfect

Peaceful site on great location for children’s activities

Toilets and showers in poor condition- no toilet seats, poor flushing and unclean state with dirty floor. Site appears run down and neglected- maybe due to being slightly before Easter season starts.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely campsite. Well laid out pitches of a good size. Good location next to the lake with water sports. Facilities very clean.

When booking it would only allow a minimum of two people but it was for me only.

Location in a wooded area, with numerous walks. Plus a lovely lake to swim in.

The chemical toilet disposal was blocked in one of the two blocks. Reported but still blocked days later

Booked in asked for tokens for washing machine was told there was no washing machine was showed on map where to go opposite the shower block not on nature as booked told to keep front wheels on road as soft (good advice and no one’s fault as lots of rain) went to wash up after meal tried all sinks no hot water then to shower no hot water let water run but freezing and showers had not been used for a very long time. Went to reception but no one around so slept that night and packed up and left the next morning as i had no electric and no shower in my van booked 3 stayed one no facilities
