Camping de l'Ardèche ***

Het is een relatief kleine camping met mooie afgesloten kampeerplekken. Wij hebben 7 nachten in een hele stacaravan gezeten met een mooi houten half overdekt terras. De camping ligt aan een publieke toegang tot de rivier waar je tussen de bomen een plekje kunt vinden. Het personeel spreekt goed Engels en is erg vriendelijk. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van animatie. Die is er geloof ik ook niet alleen in de avond en voornamelijk in het Frans. Een kano tocht over de rivier is te reserveren bij de receptie en is een aanrader. Al met al hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Er was een kampeergroep naast ons die om 6.55 een wek ronde deed met veel gezamenlijk zang. Op zich wel even gezellig maar ze hadden wat meer rekening kunnen houden met de rest van de camping.

The pitch is very good. Also the WiFi. The toilet is not ok. Dirty en not clean enough.

The camp is well located, it is clean and the ladies in the reception office are really nice. It is helpful that one can order few basics (like bread) in the caffé in the camp. At the reception they were really outgoing with the help (due to late arrival) and tryed to help with all the activities and suggestions.

The toillets could do with some renovations, they are really outdated. The WCs are without paper, the shower rooms have paint falling off, the sinks for dishes are only with cold water and leaking. They were trying to keep the toillets clean, though! The camp is very close to bridge and reight beside other camp, so it tends to be difficoult to find a camp from the road the first time around.

Prachtige omgeving. Veel te doen. Camping ligt aan de George rivier met eigen strandje. Dorpje op loopafstand..

Sanitair is wat verouderd, maar functioneert prima. Geen toiletbrillen, toiletpapier en zeep

We were looking for a couple of pitches to use for one night in the middle of the week in July, on the Ardeche, so that we could launch straight into the river and paddle the gorge. Camping de l’Ardeche fitted the bill perfectly. We arrived late, but this was not a problem. The welcome at reception was great, especially as our French is very poor. I’ll use the site again. The on site restaurant was able to feed 10 of us at short notice, the food and beer were great.

Ensure you book the restaurant for a larger group.

Het was heerlijk om hier te zijn. Het sanitair is schoon, bij de receptie wordt je heel vriendelijk geholpen, leuke avond activiteiten worden er georganiseerd en de camping ligt mooi centraal.

Bellissimo campeggio molto ombreggiato e attaccato al fiume con una bellissima spiaggia. Reception sempre gentile e disponibile, rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Nel mio soggiorno ho girato diversi ristoranti ma a mio modesto parere quello del campeggio rimane il migliore,ottimo cibo e prezzo giusti

Bagni molto puliti solo aumenterei il numero del wc, secondo me pochi nelle ore di punta

Large spaces with good separations. Close to the river and good starting place for canoeing. Frequent cleaning of sanitary areas.

No Toilet paper and soap in the sanitary rooms. No toilet seats. The nearby road is very noisy. In High season the Ardèche is like a highway for canoes. Would recommend going there in low season.

Ligging is goed, dichtbij het dorp , warm water bij afwas en douche, aardig personeel, denken met je mee, goede kano service vanaf de camping

Sanitair is echt oud, afgebladderde verf, weinig toiletten, geen zeep of droogdoekjes/droger na toiletgebruik, vrij hoge rare drempels op camping, code om door poortje te gaan naar rivier. Dit is niks bijzonders qua strandje. Hier kunnen ze meer van maken. Een stukje verderop op loopafstand is het wel erg leuk bij de brug.

Heel fijne camping die alles heeft wat je nodig hebt. Goede sanitaire voorzieningen, heel vriendelijk onthaal, je kan er een paar basis gerechtjes eten in het restaurant, vlak aan de rivier de L'Ardeche. Ik kom hier zeker nog terug!

Op sommige plekken in de electriciteitsvoorziening wat veraf.

We loved the site. Our kids spent hours in the river. We walked into Vallon which is lovely and enjoyed a kayak trip down the river

The staff were amazing, so welcoming and helpful. I felt right at home. The camp grounds were clean and well kept. I am a solo traveller and felt very safe to camp there. This was very value for money! I would highly recommend this place in the future and cannot thank the staff enough for their welcome.

Perfectley positioned and nice flat pitches.

Ablusions block was a little tired, probably due to being end of season.

The site is excellent in a beautiful location. Only a few kilometres from the Pont d’Arc and Grotte Chauvet 2. The site is very well maintained and the staff are most helpful.

Washing machines were not working, but that was the only problem.
