A wonderful stay in a wonderful setting that ticked all the boxes. The campsite has the perfect mix of activity and also calm and quiet. It has thought of all the little tiny details that make a stay just that little bit more special

Beautiful campsite, plenty to do, clean and well run. We really enjoyed the discovery walk and the wine tasting. Our children enjoyed the activities. The site has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The staff were very lovely but being the start of season not all were totally confident in the systems (I had a spa booking mix up that was not resolved). We found the service to be slow in the restaurant - but the food was very good.

We have stayed in a number of places for our summer holidays over the years and this is the first time we have ever returned to a site. Love this place. The spacious, green site is so well laid out and maintained. It is really well looked after. Loads for activities for our teenage boys to get involved with. Staff are all super helpful. Enjoyed the guided tour from Anne, very interesting.

We would be interested in a (slightly) bigger pool complex perhaps. Also the staff and service in the restaurant is not on the same level as all the excellent staff elsewhere on site.

The new Safari Village is gnerally beautifully done. However the usability of the deck space is pretty comprimised by the heavy wooden furniture - particularly the 'armchairs'. It would be good to have an outdoor table and three stool at the bar rather than 2. I would re-consider the 'armchairs' completely - they have a very large footprint [ on quite a compact deck ] and are very heavy to move even for an adult male.

We have just had the most amazing 5 days stay here, everything was perfect! The campsite is so lovely and clean, the staff are friendly, the pools are great, and its a great place for kids! Our 3 year old loved it too, it was so lovely waking up to the sound of the birds singing, we will definitely be returning next year.

Perhaps slightly more choices of food at the restaurant, but this is not a deal breaker for us.

We had great pleasure in returning to this site where we used to bring our children in the early 1990's and are now returning with our children and grandchildren. A lot has changed and developed over the intervening years with the driveway now a route for pedestrians and bikes to get to the shop, bars & swimming pools all beautifully planted with flowers and trees. It was just as relaxing as we had remembered.

one area for improvement would be to provide evening entertainment for adults in way of a small band , live music or even background music.. kids will still enjoy A little quiet at evening time - even from 9-11pm not sure there should be a charge for fresh water mini market could be much bigger - was expensive too, one morning there wasnt milk?

We had an amazing break! The site is beautiful and very peaceful. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful and clearly enjoyed working at La Garangeoire. We have holidayed at a large number of 5* campsites in France over the years this is one of, if not the best we have had the pleasure of staying at.

Loved the atmosphere, the helpful friendly staff and the activities and facilities.

Taos accommodation could be better equipped. No good sharp kitchen knives or large drinking glasses. The bar should have a good selection of wines, not just the basic red, white and rose choices. This is France and we like good French wine selections. Also, the small bar kept closing early, 9.30 or 9.40 pm every evening. You could sell good wines here and stay open to 11.

Fabulous campsite, spotlessly clean and extremely safe. Kids had the freedom to cycle around and hang out in a safe environment. Lovely spaces for younger kids, the lagoon in particular.

Great facilities on site. My 6 y o loved the football lessons and especially Mehdi the main coach. Super helpful staff at reception. Loved our spacious pitch, the slides, range of pools and quiet, rural setting. Our two young boys aged 4 and 6 were very sad to leave…

One of the 10am football coaches was constantly on her phone looking disinterested. Mehdi was superb, but at times matches were left unsupervised. Our sink leaked and lights didn’t work. The latter was fixed but the former was not. Both football goal nets need repairing (lots of holes). The playground area was ok but maybe needs updating. Feel you need a tunnel slide or proper zip wire.

We had a wonderful holiday at this campsite. Our children are both under 10 and they were well catered for. The swimming pool was great and it is an excellent location for some of the local attractions. I recommend puy du fou and the grand défi (which is pretty much next door). Reception staff really approachable and friendly. Everything was very clean. We booked directly with the campsite which was easy.

Again another fantastic holiday at La Garangeoire. This is our 7th year and it really is like home from home for us. Our three children aged 13, 8 and 11 all love being at La Garangeoire. This year the night walk was a massive hit and of course the night swim! Anne and Eric and all their staff continously go above and beyond to make La Garangeoire as special as it is. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

We have been visiting this site for over 20years and now our grown up children Brian their children. There is always a warm welcome from the staff, site is immaculately clean and there is everything you could need on site

Can’t think of any negatives apart from maybe more umbrellas at the pool

We liked arriving.! Always a very pleasant welcome from the team of people no matter what their role is. The site improvements are good especially the braided promenade segregating the wheeled from pedestrians. Accommodation and everywhere was very clean and comfortable. The pool was fantastic. The hour before the slides were opened up allowed for a peaceful swim time. We first visited 35 years ago. Although the site has developed the environment and atmosphere hasn’t changed. We like arriving but we are always sorry to leave.

Whilst there’s a footbath at the entrance to the pool the overhead shower couldn’t be operated despite valiant attempt by pool guy. Options are the shower next to the pool or in the ablutions near entrance. The new waste system was a bit hit and miss. I never mastered it.

Fantastic friendly welcome from Santi on arrival..Country Lodge was exceptionally well equipped Our 2 dinners in the restaurant were very pleasant especially being able to take our dog Thomas with us. We enjoyed a couple of relaxing sessions in the well laid out pool complex The walking routes provided proved very useful when we wandered further afield Thomas & I really enjoyed the guided dog walk which was expertly led by a wonderful young lady who shared lots of her knowledge & hobbies with us

The folk music duo wasn't to our taste but that's more of a personal thing.

The campsite was beautiful. Sites were private, surrounded by nature but not too private to meet neighbours easily. Lovely activities.

Water machine only releasing 500 mls with each interaction was very tedious.
