We loved our stay, difficult to improve the experience.
The bed sheets quality are poor and have caused some annoyance. The shop on site could be bigger and have a better selection of fresh products. Too few washing machines available in the lavatory. On site surf board rental service was missing this year, a real shame. The surf partner this year is too far removed from the campsite. It would be good to have a dedicated space to leave leftover groceries/cleaning products etc for other guests to use after our stay. A (swim) toy ‘library’ would be great to have and leave things after our stay.

Spaciousness, very good condition lodge. Great location.
The shower drain was blocked when we used it for the first time on our stay. La plancha grill has job was playing up and not working optimal.

Location of site with a short stroll to the beach and bars/restaurants. The site is well maintained with friendly helpful staff in reception and around the site. There is a restaurant next to the pool that serves excellent food and drink with a shop that sells fresh hot bread and croissants in the morning along with daily essentials.

We have stayed at this site many times and always arrive to a clean well stock mobile home with every thing we need for a long stay. The installation of air conditioning in these vans is a welcome addition when the temperatures start rising.

Spacious Mobile Home, completely equipped. Pretty calm, no late night music, nice pool (though a bit unpretentious). Good starting point for excursions to the nearby famous cities and beaches by car.
Not very much space between the homes or pitches. The nearby beach is a bit rough (coarse sand, pebbles) but still an asset for the camp ground.

As ever the campsite was immaculate and the clients quiet and considerate. We were very lucky with the weather which was mostly sunny.

Being able to walk to the beach from the campsite is wonderful. Plenty of places to go for a drink or a meal without having to drive there is a huge advantage. Not far to drive to St Jean De Luz or if you feel up to it walk there. The sunset virtually every evening takes your breath away. A fabulous holiday.

We discovered Chadotel Erromardie eight years ago and have been back every year since, sometimes three times a year. We love the quality of the site and the way it is thoughtfully laid out and maintained. The scenery is stunning and unspoilt and the visitors an eclectic mix. Have stayed on this site 8 times over the years. The last two have been in static units. We like the location and the area. Plenty of great scenery and good benches.
The storage in our unit was not very good, however we do take a lot of clothes and equipment. We had a considerable number of crawling bugs which managed to find there way into bedding and clothes.

Checking in needs improvement. Lovely member of staff but needed more than one. Huge queue at 2.30 and mayhem at the barrier not the member of staff's fault please improve the system. Also I wouldn't book on line again 15 euro booking charge and 30 euro charge to choose a pitch is way too much.

On arrival, the receptionist was lovely ,very friendly, welcoming, and spoke excellent English. Our pitch was spacious and open, and we stayed for four nights. The campsite restaurant was great, and the beautiful beach was just a 5-minute walk away, with a few bars and restaurants nearby. We loved sitting with a sangria, watching the surfers and the stunning sunset. Perfect stay — we’ll definitely be back!

Superb site within a stones throw of the beach and excellent beach bars for sundowners, It’s a pleasant 40mins walk into Saint Jean…with fab views over the bays. Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent facilities. They were able to accommodate our 7.4m motorhome which other nearby sites struggled with. We will be back.

This time we were parked in front of the men's urinal 183 and suggest the open fencing is replaced by a hedge/ closed fence in order to block that view. Also to book via the telephone when we were in the mountains and could not get a WiFi signal...cost us 24e which i think was extortionate considering we are Acsi members!!

From ringing up two days before our stay to see if there was room for us, to the end of our fortnight, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, particularly Marina and Elma in reception. The pitches were large with easy access to water, waste and electricity hook-up. The swimming pool was heated and inviting and the restaurant and epicerie were adequate for our needs. The proximity to the beach was a real bonus and the whole St Jean-de-Luz area is wonderful.
The access road could do with improvement but we realise that this was not the responsibility of the campsite.

Stayed 2 nights on a sea view pitch. 50 min walk in SJDLL after our small dog was refused bus pass. Lovely town to explore. Had a nice, very reasonable meal at the popular in-house bar/restaurant. Would stay again.

Pitch was level but many pitches required leveling blocks. Mixed Sanitary block was excellent and cleaned regularly. Plenty of hot water and all cubicles had both shower and sink inside.
Annoying but not the 1st time front desk failed to know the local buses had a no dog policy, when asking with the dog at the desk. Suggest timetable should hightlight and have a viable sign.

My only real gripe is that they charge for Wi-Fi. The weather was awful while we were there but the pitch stayed relatively dry. We had a beach side pitch which meant we had the roar of surf through the night. We took the train from St Jean to Biarritz and the site was great, with the afore mentioned Wi-Fi the only issue.

So many French campsites close early, it's nice to find a top class one that stays open until November. Similarly, the restaurant area stays open. I like the way there's no absolute date for the pool to close. Very sensibly, if the weather is good enough, the pool stays open. We had a broken water pump in our campervan and the office sourced someone to come to the campsite to make the necessary repairs.
To be eco friendly, I think a compost bin is necessary. Apologies if it exists, I didn't see one.

Campsite great position , walking distance to a wonderful beach area. You could hear the waves . Whole area is beautiful and good access to places of interest . All pitches seemed a good size
Very busy site - we were surprised how busy it was for the time of year . We were kept awake one night , the night prior to our departure and a long drive the next day, by very loud music coming from what we assume was the beach bar just near the campsite. It went on nearly 1am in the morning with loud thumping music . Not very nice for anyone on the campsite . Not sure if this is a regular thing

Good size pitch for our needs .
Having specifically booked a sea view pitch and paid extra for this we were disappointed on arrival to find we were 1 row back from the sea with people in front of us. Although we had a small glimpse of the sea, the next day an enormous German motor home arrived . - the size of a single decker bus and parked in the pitch opposite and completely blocked our view . I feel angry that the pitches one row back are charged at the same price as a sea view pitch because people in motorhomes or caravans whatever size on front line will inevitably block the view of people behind.

Located very close to the beach, this well-run campsite is superb. Helpful young lady in reception let us go into the site to pick our pitch. Good clean loos. Didn’t use swimming pool but it looked excellent.

We had tried to book another site but couldn't get in. We were recommended this site by the other one. They had spaces and were super friendly. We were given a choice of pitches. It was very close to the beach and the restaurant was great value and also friendly.

From arrival we were welcomed and helped with every aspect making our holiday relaxing and stressfree. Well maintained site and great value.
Better signage towards the entrance would help as the sat navigation directed us up a narrow road where we had to endure a tricky u-turn with a caravan on tow!!? Also watch out for potholes on approach.

A view over a sandy beach to the ocean where we enjoyed watching the surfers and paddle boarding.
The restaurant was expensive for a campsite. The staff and the meal were fine.

All our pitches have a 10 Amp electricity connection (we advise you to bring an adapter for a European plug and a 20 metre cable) and a water point nearby. You have at your disposal sanitary blocks, all comfort (hot water, showers, washbasins, toilets, PMR access cabin (person with reduced mobility), baby cabin, washing-up and laundry bins, chemical toilets); as well as a campervan service area. The sanitaires privés were definitely worth booking, nice bathroom and "kitchen area". Tidy site, nice bar restaurant, and the guinguettes just around the corner on the beach.
Pitch was very lumpy, and a bit muddy.

Being greeted by two very helpful smiling ladies at reception after a long tiring journey, Who were very willing to find a pitch and facilities for your stay.was very rewarding. Receptionist Marina was outstanding from other receptioists of other campsites.
