1) Option - Reservation :
Option: You can ask in writing (letter, e-mail) for a reservation option. This option will not last more than 10 days for a reservation made more than 30 days before arrival, 7 days for a reservation made between 29 days and 15 days before arrival, 3 days for any reservation made between 15 days and 5 days before arrival or 1 day for any reservation made less than 5 days before arrival. In the absence of confirmation at the end of the delay, the option will be cancelled without any possible reserve.
Reservation : Upon receipt of payment, the campsite considers that the client accepts the terms, conditions and services, and the prices of his stay. The client cannot claim to have made a mistake because he will have entered the information concerning his reservation himself. No refund will be possible.
The reservation will be effective only when you receive a written confirmation (letter or e-mail) and that the deposit of 30% (or entirety of the stay if reservation less than 30 days) + booking fees (+ optional cancellation insurance) have been paid. At the time of booking, special requests can be made. However, even if the campsite commits itself to pay particular attention to them, we cannot guarantee to satisfy them. The balance of the stay must be paid one month before your arrival date.
In case of non payment of the balance the campsite will not be obliged to maintain your reservation. The campsite can then cancel the reservation without any refund or compensation.
The reservation is nominative and cannot be transferred or sublet. Minors must be accompanied by their legal guardians or by an adult who will be responsible for them.
In accordance with the provisions of L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, which must be provided on a specific date or for a specific period.
2) Method of payment - Tariff :
Deposit and balance: The first payment must be accompanied by the signed reservation contract. The other payments must be made at the latest 1 month before the client's arrival, mentioning the client's references. In case of late arrival, the balance must be paid only by credit card via a secure system. In the absence of this payment, the client will not have access to his rental or his pitch. In case of arrival without reservation in a campsite, a payment of the number of nights planned will be paid at your arrival and a readjustment will be made 24 hours before the departure date initially planned.
Method of payment : The campsite accepts payment by ANCV vacation vouchers, by credit card or by bank transfer.
You have the possibility to spread your payments until one month before your arrival. This is a payment facility that is granted exceptionally and must be formalized by the campsite.
Rates : The amount of the rental of the pitch or the accommodation is always expressed excluding tourist tax. The rates published by the campsite have no contractual value and can be modified at any time, without notice. The contractual price is the one fixed at the time of the reservation.
The campsite applies dynamic pricing. Therefore, the rates are likely to change upwards or downwards.
The partner advantages and promotions cannot be applied to a reservation that has been confirmed, whether it has already been paid in full or in part; these are not retroactive under any circumstances.
Tourist tax: The tourist tax is mandatory. The amount is set by the municipality of Argeles sur mer.
3) Deposit :
Lodging and free-camp: At your arrival a guarantee of 350€ of restitution in good condition will be asked, and a guarantee of 80€ for the cleaning. This deposit can be made by credit card only, by check or in cash. In case of late arrival, the deposit must be made by credit card, otherwise the client will not have access to his rental. It will be returned on the day of departure, after an inventory has been taken, subject to any damage or missing items.
Because of the current context is to secure your transactions, a solution SWIKLY is set up. For any guarantee deposited via SWIKLY, the deposit will be 300€.
The cases of non-return: degradation, missing element, non-realized cleaning (in case of fixed price cleaning it is necessary to have made the dishes, taken out all the dustbins and cleaned the refrigerator under penalty of non-return of the guarantee, with defect a supplement of 50€ will be invoiced). The campsite invites the clients to indicate any element that they would have destroyed or lost.
On arrival, it is essential to make an inventory of fixtures to check that there are no missing or damaged items. If on leaving, the rental property is in good condition, without any deteriorated elements, the deposits will be destroyed or sent back by mail (at the customer's convenience) within 7 days after departure. This deposit can be used for the return of objects left in the accommodation or returned after payment of the shipping costs of the forgotten items. If the amount of the deterioration is superior to the amount of the deposit, the customer will have to discharge the remaining sums due.
Miscellaneous rentals: A deposit will be required for any equipment rental (e.g.: baby kit, television, ...). The amounts are fixed according to the cost of the material and they are available at the reception desk.
This deposit will be returned to you upon return of the rented equipment to the reception or after the technical service and only after the control of the good working order.
4) Duration of the stay :
Accommodation : The rental during the high season is for a minimum of one week, or 7 nights (Saturday-Saturday / Wednesday-Wednesday). In low season, the minimum rental period is two nights.
Bare pitch : It is possible to rent a pitch for one night.
5) Arrivals - Departures :
General : It is compulsory to present the identity cards of all participants for registration. No arrivals or departures will be allowed outside the opening hours of the reception office, unless expressly agreed by the manager or his representative. You must contact the office before 5:00 pm to report any late arrival.
Accommodations and free-camp pitches: Arrivals for accommodation rentals are from 4pm onwards. The accommodation must be vacated before 11am. In case of non-respect of the departure time, a supplement of 20€ per hour will be applied, any started hour being due.
Bare pitches: Arrivals on the pitches are from 3pm. The pitch must be vacated before 12 noon.
Delay : In case of delay for the arrival, the customer is asked to inform the reception of the campsite at 04.68.81.02.63 before 5 pm. After 24 hours, if you have not informed us of your delay, the rental can be re-rented, except in cases of force majeure.
6) Modification - Cancellation - Early departure :
Modification : Any modification must be notified in writing at least 21 days before the planned date of arrival and will only be possible after the express agreement of the manager or his representative. A supplement will be applied: 1 modification 0€ - 2 modifications 10€ - 3 or more 20€/modification.
You will have to book a new stay in our campsite during the same season as the one during which the initial stay was planned, according to the availabilities and the current rates. Your initial stay can only be changed once. If you are unable to honour the stay substituted for the initial stay, it will be considered as cancelled; the sums paid will not be refunded.
If the price of the substituted stay is higher than that of the initial stay, you must pay the difference at least 30 days before the new arrival date. If you fail to do so, the substituted stay is considered as cancelled and our cancellation conditions described below will apply. If the price of the substituted stay is lower than the price of the initial stay, we will keep the difference in price, as compensation for the prejudice resulting from the change of stay.
Cancellation insurance : The subscription to the cancellation insurance is done with a separate insurance company of the campsite which sends the elements at the time of the validation of the reservation. Cancellation insurance is recommended. Before subscribing, we invite you to read the general conditions of Gritchen Affinity for the contract Campez Couvert (www.campez-couvert.com). The reimbursement modalities following a cancellation within the framework of the cancellation insurance can only be done in the conditions foreseen by the cancellation insurance and in no case the ccamping can be held responsible for the decisions taken by the insurance company. Cancellation insurance must be taken out at the time of booking, before payment of the deposit.
Confinement : In case of regional or national confinement imposed by the government for the exact dates of your stay and only when the cancellation insurance is taken out, the campsite will reimburse the sums paid by the holidaymaker. It is essential that the confinement is pronounced for your main residence or for the campsite.
If you do not take out cancellation insurance, the usual general cancellation conditions apply.

Cancellation :
Cancellation by the holidaymaker:
Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt which will take effect from the receipt of the letter.
- If the letter is presented more than 30 days before your arrival, the amount of the deposit paid, the booking fees paid, and if applicable, the sums paid for the cancellation insurance remain the property of the campsite.
- If the letter is presented between the 30th and the 15th day before your arrival, the amount of the deposit and the booking fees paid at the time of the reservation, and if applicable, the sums paid for the cancellation insurance at the time of the reservation remain the property of the campsite; the balance will be the object of a credit note to be used for a next stay during the following season.
- If the letter is presented less than 15 days before the date of your arrival, the totality of the sums paid to the camp-site remain acquired to him.
Cancellation by the campsite:
If the campsite has to cancel a reservation that the campsite has confirmed to the holidaymaker, it will notify the holidaymaker as soon as possible, by e-mail; the sums paid will be fully refunded.
By way of derogation, if the cancellation by the campsite is the result of an administrative closure imposed in particular to fight the spread of Coid-19, the sums paid will be retained by the campsite and will be the subject of a credit note to be used for a future stay at the campsite, which must be booked during the same season as the cancelled stay or during the following season.
Early departure: Any early departure with respect to the dates registered at the time of the reservation will not be reimbursed, whether it is for a reservation of accommodation or a bare pitch.
7) Pets:
Only one pet is allowed per pitch for an additional fee/night. Dogs of 1st and 2nd categories are forbidden as well as NAC. The vaccination booklet must be presented and up to date as well as a certificate of insurance. The animal must not be left alone on the site or in the rental, and must always be kept on a leash. The animal is not allowed to use the swimming pool or the sanitary facilities. The owners must pick up any dirt and respect the cleanliness.
8) Disturbances and nuisances - Internal regulations :
The occupation will have to be made reasonably, only for vacations. The rental is not transferable, subletting is forbidden and it is forbidden to have a professional activity in the accommodation. Each tenant is responsible for any disturbance or nuisance caused by persons staying on the site or in the accommodation. In case of repeated non-compliance with the rules and regulations, i.e. again after a formal notice to comply notified by email, by you and / or your companions of our rules.
In this case, you will have to leave your accommodation or your pitch within 3 hours of the resolution of your contract, which will be notified to you by e-mail. No refund will be made by us,
Charcoal and gas barbecues, fires, chichas, ... are strictly forbidden.
In case of water or electricity cut following a municipal decision or authorized companies or in case of incident, the responsibility of the campsite cannot be engaged and no refund can be asked.
9) Security :
The accommodations must not accommodate more than the number of authorized occupants. If the number of people is higher than the maximum capacity, an upgrade will have to be made and a fee of 50€/night and per additional person will be applied. On the bare pitches, it is not possible to have more than 6 people. In case of abusive occupation, it can be put an immediate end and without compensation, without prejudice to the claims for compensation that the campsite or third parties could make. The customer must have a civil liability insurance (certificate not requested on arrival).
10) Video surveillance :
We inform you that this establishment is placed under video surveillance in order to guarantee security, to note offences and to regulate the entries and exits. The images are intended for the staff. For any information, contact the reception where you can also exercise your right of access to the images concerning you, which will be kept for 14 days in accordance with the law Informatique et Libertés.
11) Right to the image :
During your stay you may be photographed or filmed for the design and production of our advertising brochures, without compensation, unless you notify the reception in writing upon your arrival.
12) Right of withdrawal:
Under Article L121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is not applicable to the provision of accommodation and leisure activities provided on a date or according to a specific period.
13) Processing of personal data:
Pursuant to Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC on the General Data Protection Regulation, the personal data given will be kept for the entire period of the business relationship. The information will be kept for a period of 3 years for prospects and at the end of the commercial relationship. The banking data are kept only for the time of the operation. In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to question, access, modify, oppose and rectify your personal data. By adhering to these general conditions of sale, you agree that we collect and use these data for the realization of the present contract. 14) Complaints / Mediator :
Any complaint related to a stay must be made in writing and sent to us by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, within 20 days following the end of the stay.
In the event of a dispute and if no amicable solution is found within one month of receiving the aforementioned letter of complaint, you may have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator, provided that you refer the matter to him within one year of sending your letter of complaint.
In accordance with the provisions of article L612-1 of the Consumer Code, any customer of the campsite has the right to have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator in order to resolve amicably any dispute that may arise between him/her and the campsite operator. 15) Applicable law:
Failure to enforce any of the provisions of these terms and conditions of sale shall not result in the waiver of these conditions.
If one or several stipulations are invalid, the others will keep all their force and their range.
All the clauses appearing in the present general conditions of sale, as well as all the operations of purchase and sale which are referred to there will be subjected to the French law.
