Article 1 - Scope of application of the general conditions of sale
These general conditions automatically govern all sales of stays made on the site www.camping-hautes-pyenees.com and its online reservation system www.secureholidays.com. They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers.
Each customer acknowledges having read these general conditions prior to any reservation of a stay, for themselves and any person participating in the stay.
In accordance with current law, these general conditions are made available to any customer for information purposes prior to the conclusion of any contract for the sale of stays. They can also be obtained upon simple written request addressed to the establishment's headquarters.
Article 2 - Reservation conditions
• 2.1 Price and payment
The price of stays is indicated in euros, VAT included. The customer's attention is drawn to the fact that the tourist tax and the eco contribution are not included in the price.
For campsite reservations: All rentals are nominative and cannot be transferred. The rental only becomes effective with our agreement and after receipt of the total amount of the stay and the reservation fees.

• 2.2 Deposit
To guarantee the reservation, 30% of the rental amount is requested on the day of reservation. The balance of the rental must be paid 21 days before arrival.
• 2.3 Modification of reservation
No reduction will be made in the event of late arrival or early departure.
• 2.4 Cancellation
a) The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the event of distance selling provided for by the Consumer Code are not applicable to tourist services (article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code).
Thus, for any order for a stay with the campsite, the customer does not benefit from any right of withdrawal.
b) if the tenant has not shown up on the day mentioned in the contract: after a period of 12 hours and without notice to the owner:
1° this contract is considered terminated
2° the deposit remains with the owner
3° the owner can dispose of his mobile home
c) in the event of cancellation by the owner: he will reimburse the tenant the amount of the deposit collected
• 2.5 Withdrawal
The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the event of distance selling provided for by the Consumer Code are not applicable to tourist services (article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code).

Article 3 - Progress of the stay
• 3.1 Arrivals and Departures
For rental and camping: arrivals are from 2 p.m. (4 p.m. in July and August), departures are before 10 a.m., any day of the week.
• 3.2 Deposit
A deposit of 200 euros per accommodation (400 euros for treehouses) will be required on the day of your arrival. It will be refunded to you on the day of your departure, during checkout opening hours, after an inventory. Billing for possible damage will be added to the price of the stay as well as cleaning if you do not leave the accommodation in a perfectly clean state. If you cannot be present during the inventory, the deposit will be returned to you by mail.
• 3.3 Use of the Premises
The tenant will enjoy the rental in a peaceful manner and will make good use of it, in accordance with the destination of the premises and the internal regulations of the campsite.
Upon departure, the tenant undertakes to leave the Mobile home as clean as he found it upon arrival. A cleaning fee will be applied if the rental is left dirty. The rental cannot under any circumstances benefit third parties.
The owner will provide the accommodation in accordance with the description he has given and will keep it in serviceable condition.
• 3.4 number of occupants
The number of tenants cannot be modified after booking. Under no circumstances exceed the indicated reception capacity.
A supplement will then be calculated in proportion to the number of people.
For the smooth running of the establishment, groups of more than 8 people (including families) are not accepted in July, August or during periods of very high attendance.
• 3.5 Departure
The tenant may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain in the premises at the expiration of the period initially provided for in this contract. Any request to extend your stay must be made at least 24 hours before the planned departure date.
• 3.6 Animals
Dogs are tolerated but must be kept on a leash on the grounds. They must not disturb the neighborhood and cannot under any circumstances be left alone in the rental.
• 3.7 Internal regulations
As required by law, you must adhere to our internal regulations, filed with the prefecture, displayed at our reception and a copy of which will be given to you on request.
Article 4 – Liability/Insurance
The Campsite declines all responsibility for damage suffered by the camper-caravanner's equipment which is its own fault; insurance for your equipment in terms of civil liability is mandatory (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC, others...).
The tenant is required to insure the accommodation rented to him. He must check if his main residence contract provides for the resort extension (vacation rental). Otherwise, it is advisable to contact your insurer.
Article 5 - Applicable law
These general conditions are subject to French law and any dispute relating to their application falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court or the Commercial Court of Tarbes (65000)
